@johnbozi The floor is actually darker but is reflecting the light when the cameras pick it up. I asked Joanna Parker what she thought of the light blue floor and she said it was fine to play on and given her defensive style away from the table it should be more of a problem for her than anyone. I think they will have to change the colour of the floor for the Olympic from a tv perspective.
@englishtabletennis I was getting at it from a tv or spectator point of view. A yellow ball would contrast much better against the light blue even better than it does against red floors which I never understood either.
Some really nice camera angles and decent action sequences. However I think the out of synch editing (20 change of ends?) and the lack of any scores ruins it somewhat.
