  • Not sure what the deal is with YouTube. This used to play fine. I'll see if I can find the source and make an update

  • SSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • i hate the stupid toy

  • i almost became deaf from this video D :<

  • I have many model remote control cars some nitrio some electric. My fastest electric car uses a very powerful lithium polymer battery and goes 65mph (it's called a Losi speed-t). I've heard these hydrogen cars are quite fast could one match a speed-t?

  • a pity its only a toy.

    whats up with the sound?

  • Looks like no one can control this car, needs more engineering.

  • Worlds first hydrogen toy car ????Have you not heard of the Hydrocar or H-Racer ?? Hate to inform you but those and a few more came first !

  • i hear water!

  • what do you think the sun is burning for fuel? Hydrogen along with some other gases.

  • WTF JESUS did my rabbit ears fall off my 1980 tv agian. Holy sheeet

  • Sounds like this video was made a bit too close to the Niagra Falls

  • cant even hear him

  • there is no point in producing hydrogen from water by electrolysis. this is basic physics and chemistry. im sorry.

so you produce hydrogen from water, then burn it, and the result is water. so you start off with water and end up with water

the law of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only transformed

in this example we end up with the exact same thing we started off with, so there is no energy output. it is only a transformation of electric energy.

  • but what about magnets? you pull them apart then they smash back together with the same amount of energy. just like with this car. it splits oxygen from the hydrogen then the oxygen and hydrogen smash back together within the fuel cell on board the car. See how that works?

  • yup. but the production of hydrogen from water requires MORE energy than the hydrogen produces when combusted in an engine. so a bit of the energy input is wasted. input is greater than output. understand? :P

so it is better to just use the electricity in the first place. hydrogen from electrolysis is pointless.

  • Well you can use electricity from solar panel to create and store hydrogen. Then you can use it whenever you want whereas the original form of energy (solar) requires access to light source all the time. It can act as a kind of battery. And if the law of energy conservation is right how come your mileage increases by 30-40% when you add hydrogen generator to your car?

  • i dunno, i dunno where you got that from, and i dont think you should believe everything people say, especially if they dont prove or explain scientifically, like i've been trying to do to you.

storing hydrogen is something i dont know enough about to make an opinion, but the laws of science still apply. more than half of the energy is lost into the production of hydrogen.

  • i checked again and your absolutely right. energy is lost in a hydrogen fuel cell. but its not better to just use electricity for one important reason, batteries run out way before hydrogen fuel cell. even though energy is lost, its still better than to all of a sudden stop in the middle of the road. the hydrogen fuel cell is more like storing the energy as hydrogen instead of as electricity. so even though it wastes electricity, it lasts longer with one fuel up (and probably runs faster too).

  • Is there such thing as an all hydrogen car? Cant we just run on hydrogen also?

  • @tnguyen318 yeah! The world's first hydrogen powered car just arrived UK.

You can watch it at carleasingmadesimple channel

  • Pure Liquid Hydrogen?

  • Hydrogen is a fuel source of the future. It is clean and abundant. Researchers have also came up with a way to create it spontaneously and without much use of electricity.

  • The point is that you have hydrogen in the middle phase, not water at the ends, as the hydrogen is used for the 'energy storage' if you like, such as a battery. The hydrogen is not burnt, but combined with oxygen to make the water. When the water is converted to hydrogen and oxygen, more energy is stored in it, and when they are recombined, the extra energy is used to power the car. I personally believe that burning it is the better option, but it works in a fuel cell too.

  • i don't know what you mean. "hydrogen not burnt, but combined with oxygen to make water"? what do you mean by "combined to make"? hydrogen wont burn without oxygen. when hydrogen is ignited, it reacts with oxygen to make water. i dunno what youre saying, sorry.

"when the water is converted to hydrogen and oxygen", you mean electrolysis?

    agh, whatever...

  • U gys R smrt!:) LOL!

  • True thats why we have to develop solar technology. Unlimited energy until the sun burns out. In other words FREE ENERGY!

  • one solar panel costs thousands of dollars... you call that free!!!

  • ?? lol??

  • no audi is making a real hydrogen car

  • sorry but this is dumb

  • "this is the worlds first hydrogen powered car" .. LOL.. Bullshit!

  • First remote controlled toy rc hydrogen car is what he meant, DUH!

  • This is a cool toy.. But there is nothing revolutionary with this.. Its a elecrolyzis process that creates hydrogen from electricity.. And you have to refill the tank with water since it will go away as hydrogen and oxygen is produced, so the presenter was wrong there.... H2O you remember? ;)

  • in japan there is already an actual car powered by water im sure this is not the first one. splitting hydrogen from water is not a new idea, it was propose by a filipino guy in 1970s and the first water powered car was invented by another guy in philipines in 1999 then japan bought it because philipine government would not support it(because its free they make no profit). US has know this all along.

  • Totally awesome!

  • As the only sound I can hear on this video is now GSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    I part agree with you.

I think this video used to have decent sound instead of that hiss

  • yah your right

  • This technology is nothing new. If someone wants to give me a million dollars, I'll have a production line running in 12 months :)

  • Tesla Motors puts over 37million dollars developing a electric car. If they had half a brain they would contact this company and put their money behind this.

  • where can i veiw blueprints for the enginany1?

  • Ya because they just pass them out like candy for everyone to see

  • Nowhere, because they will protect their patents.
