And an "original 60's hippie" relative of mine couldn't be let out of jail, not even supervised, long enough to attend his brother's funeral (this was in Kentucky) - all because he was helping somebody grow some weed. And it wasn't even HIS to sell, he was working for free smoke and food, that was it. Totally non-violent guy.
Legalize it and keep convicted killers in prison, where they belong. This country rewards killers too much.
