hmmmmm... my interpretation for this song is that the guy, "the reader", is a neglectful boyfriend and GUMI,"the page", just wants to be a part of the guys life, she just wants the attention of the guy so she will not be forgotten, she wants to be always with him, even if it means doing the same thing over and over and over and over again, she just really want to be a part of his life... well that's just my opinion after all

I feel sorry for anyone having to tell their friends, parents, coworkers, or even a stranger what the name of this song is if they were asked about this song. Awkwards moments will occur. Now if a woman was listening to this and her girlfriend or boyfriend asked her what the song was and she said the title of it, it could end in one of three ways one of them warrants a certain phrase known as "bow chicka wow wow"

No matter the meaning of the song, I have to say that the song melody, as well as the graphics, are awesome!

I think this song is pretty sad. My understanding is that gumi is just being used for sex by her boyfriend and that's all she's good for to him, and gumi wants to go to the next page in their relationship but can't because he doesn't want to, and so she just accepts things as they are.

I thought that Gumi was a metaphor for how people never remember certain parts of Alice in Wonderland, only the parts in the movies. The cycle starts when you read the book, and she wants you to remember the story as much as possible, and since most of the book talks about how eating makes you grow and drinking makes you shrink, she wants you to "eat" her so that you'll remember what happened.

the story is about a girl (gumi) who is in love with a promiscuous guy(s), a player, hence the playing cards. So because she is in love with him she blindly trusts him letting him do whatever he wants with her in false hopes that they would be together. after that, after being used, either she retries to win over the same guy by doing the same as she did before, or she lets other guys do the same to her in hopes to find love

or maybe I am thinking too deep and its just a song about canibalism

i think the story behind this is that gumi is the dream or story watever u call it! She doesnt want to be forgotten and have to repeat the same fate again and again but in the moment she is there in your brain she is happy so she wants it to continue!!

@DragonPengy I'm almost certain, considering the fact that Alice is so popular in Japan, that your rememberance is more literal than abstract. Everything from her outfit to the fact that Gumi says "Two bites and I grow larger" - a referance to the cake that Alice eats to grow, is a sort of homage to Alices adventure in wonderland. Just thought I'd mention that.
