  • If I saw that think drivin down the road I would piss my pants

  • @xFallenZ38X I have driven the Willys from trail rides in Moab at 60 mph and I did piss my pants. Never again at that speed!!

  • Nice rig. What are you running for the drivetrain(eng, trans, axles, tire size)?

  • @truedeadman Thanks, running a Chevy 4.3 Vortec, TH350 auto trans, Intl Scout Dana 20 with 3:15-1 gearset, Dana 44s with 5:13 gears, 37" Boggers.

  • whats ur gearing ratio in that bad boy?

  • @phazon1029 Intl Scout Dana 20 T- Case with 3:15-1 gearset, Dana 44s with 5:13 gears

  • This jeep causes feelings I can't explain..

  • @jeepwillyscj2a2007 It does the same for me also

  • wow very impressive build!

  • Nice job!

  • Definitely one of the nicest willys ever.

  • That thing is sweeeetttt

  • love it great vid.

  • WoW!!!!!

  • That is a badass Jeep!!!

  • dude nice ride man!!

  • Awesome jeep looks like killer fun take care!!

  • Nice Willys Man!

  • I wish my TJ's windshield would fold down as easily!

  • 2:47 climbing the hill with the windshield folded down - beautiful.

  • Hello, Could you inform me the distance between the wheels?? Want to do something similar in my.

    Thanks

  • @charleshochs

87 inch wheelbase, 78 inch width, 78 inch height, 134 inch overal length, 14 inch bellypan

  • @madbritwillys56

Thanks, send you a picture when is ready

  • to me rock crawling is the horrible part of offroading!

  • @tpvalley Each to his own!

  • one of the dopest jeeps ive seen!!!

  • cool video

  • Its the nicest willys i ever seen.

  • what frame is your jeep sitting on????

  • @3795mp 1979 Jeep CJ5 - Chosen becuase this is a fully boxed frame.

  • I can't recall ever seeing a jeep tackle moab in such a calm cool effort .

  • @93jeepwrangler1 Thank you, that is a great compliment

  • @madbritwillys56 I don't even think you had to give her much gas besides idle! But i dont think it had the stock 54hp 4 cylinder lol!

  • Nice jeep do you like the boggers?

  • @Willys1948CJ2A - They did a pretty decent job on the rocks but lousy on the highway. The Willys is mostly used in the midwest where the Boggers are the only way to go. I would have preferred something much less aggressive for Moab but I used what I had.

  • @madbritwillys56 Cool i have 36 in swampers on my 48 CJ-2A and love them up here in washington just thinking about when i get new ones trying boggers. Great looking jeep by the way.

  • its sad youre only riding on D-44's. Get some D-60s or 8.8s under there ffs.

  • @c0rd Don't need 60's, 44s have done it all for 11 years on this Willys.

  • Do you have hydro on that thing? You are turning the wheel with one finger!

  • @BORN2LOSE13 No Hydro just a standard PSC box

  • @madbritwillys56 It is not a PSC unit it is an AGR pump and box

  • if someones in a flatty the spotter should shut the hell up. its not a rookie in another fuckin jk unlimited

  • @crjanow What the hell does that mean?

  • @madbritwillys56 I'm guessing it means that: Someone with a flat fender jeep isn't a rookie and doesn't need some tool spotter like the rookie in a "jk unlimited" jeep.

  • @dgbsco I have a JK Unlimited that's up for sale. It's too big, too heavy and the visibilty is horrendous. So bad you need a spotter for just about every obstacle. Just got to love the Willys where you sit up high and can always see 3 tires.

  • thats a one hell of a good looking car!!!

  • awsome love old jeeps , i have the last leaf sprung jeep ever made ,if someone gave me a jk i would sell it to the first person who wanted it !!!!

  • is the engine in your mb stock?

  • @marclmercier

    It's a Chevy 4.3L V6 out of a 1998 Blazer with a TH350 auto trans and a D20 x-case out of an Int'l Harvester Scout

  • love the mb is the engine stock?

  • haha, Nevermind, should've just waited until the end.

  • What is your drivetrain? Awesome MB.

  • That is the nicest willys I have ever seen. Nice job man

  • nice willy's i have a 48 cj2a im working on

  • Well, I did decide on my next rig and just bought it about 4 months ago.

Got a 2000 TJ with 80K, 6" lift, 1" body w/ 35's all setup and for one hell of a price. Now maybe I can make it out there and do some crawling with ya so you can show me up...LOL

  • what are the wheels? and sizes for wheels and tires aswell please.

  • @pretzel1253

    37" x 13" x 15" Interco Bogger Tires

    Wheels - Allied Rock-a-Thon 36 bolt Beadlocks.

Spare Tire - 34 x 9.5 x 15LT Interco Super Swamper TSL on a cookie cutter black spoke wheel. (Just to get off the trails or make it legal for trail riding only)

  • @madbritwillys56 hmmmm i want those tires they sickkkk

  • im lovin that jeep

  • great vid! Super Great JEEP!

  • I'm a Toyota guy, but that Willy's is totally bitchin'!!

  • the best part about your video other than the sweet willys is that you didnt ruin it with shitty music. THANK YOU

  • You can always rent a jeep in Moab and check them out before buying. They have some decent Rubicons with 33s and lockers at both ends. There are so many rigs to check out though you go a little crazy

  • @madbritwillys56

I will have to try that, of course my only worry is screwing it up and then having to pay for it..that would suck...LOL...but it would be fun...hahahaha

  • @madbritwillys56 There is one rental place you can get a jk rubicon on 35s!!!

  • Thanks for the compliment. I have a Hemi JK and a well equipped TJ but they pale in comparison to the old Willys. In fact I have both up for sale because they are just not as much fun as the Willys although the ride to the trail head can be a bit of an adrenalin rush.

  • @madbritwillys56

I hope to be out there next year for my first outting to Moab and my first real expierence with rock crawling.

I am still up in the air about waht to buy for my next 4 wheeler it's always been Fords but I think Jeep is it now.

  • Last year was my first Safari with the Willys but I have been to Moab many times with my TJ and JK. The Willys performed far better than both and was a hundred times more enjoyable to drive and see the Canyonlands in.

  • @madbritwillys56

I have been in love with your tub for months. Your Willis is my by far favorite to watch. Everything you encounter seems effortless, I am amazed at the performance of that older machine, it is fantastic from where I sit.

    Keep crawling.

  • Nice Jeep!!! I've been going to EJS for the last couple of years. I'm suprised I haven't seen you before. Are you coming down for 2011?

  • Work prevents me from participating in 2011 but I am planning on 2012.

  • @madbritwillys56 That's too bad. Hope to see you in 2012!!!

  • now thats a JEEP

  • @chrishoyt161718 ....No Doubt No Doubt.... OIIIIIIO

  • Nice looking Willys!

  • What setup are you running, in terms of Engine, tranny and xcase? I don't think that's the F134... Is it?

  • What kind of setup are you running, in terms of Engine, tranny and xcase?

  • This is thing of beauty my friend nice crawling by the way..

  • What axles and tires on the willys?

  • That is one Cool Jeep

  • that jeep looks like it can crawl over anything
