I am also excited to see your daily vlogs. Weekends can be tough, but with determaination you can stay on plan! The three bite rule is a fantastic idea!
I'm excited for your daily vlogs jess! I do the same as you, I do fairly well during the week and then the weekends i'm like 'oh whatever, let's eat pizza!!' bahaha, it hasn't caused me to gain though , but everyone is different. Love you!!!!!! You're great :)
The same thing happened to me when I reached lifetime.I thought ,I know what I am supposed to eat,I can let loose. I ended up gaining back 20 pounds! It was terrible! Luckily I had gotten rid of all of my big clothes and I had nothing to wear. That motivated me. I went back to meetings, got the weight off, and this past weekend I completed my training to be a leader! But 7 months at goal I still track every single day, I have to. Remember, 'what got you to goal will keep you at goal'.
Jess you are still doing amazing and its ok that you got off track! Just pick yourself up and dont stress too much or the stress might get to you! You are still such a big inspiration and motivator to me! Keep up the great work! You can get to 125lb!!!
You are doing great jess, i know maintenance is hard, my mom had to go through it and now my brother is going through it, and he's having tons of trouble. But, you are very determined and i think you had a good idea with these videos, they WILL help you stay on track. :) good luck!!
At least you have realized what your doing. Some people don't even know or don't care or even just assume it's ok I won't gain. But they do it's horrible!! Well good for you!!! Your still beautiful :D
I got down to 125lbs by counting calories and exercising and when I decided to stop counting and eat "normal" I slowly gained 35lbs, then I had to start all over. It is good to be strict with yourself and know that a gain of 5 lbs can turn into 10 and thats the last thing we want to happen....
great video dear, I can't imagine how hard maintaining is but thank you for sharing your experience and the fact that you are talking about it is very important
Ha! I'm having the same problem (taking weekends off) and I'm like, 20-30 pounds away from goal. Heh. I just did a new viddie and blog in which I recommitted myself and promised to reign in those bad habits.
The biggest help is the accountability factor. It's great you're on here being honest and asking for help. Way to go; you're an inspiration!
I'm about to do a similar video to yours and Shanti's today as well... Seems like it's been a mediocre summer so far for us all as far as weight loss/maintenance goes. But these videos are the first steps! So let's get back on the horse together! :-)
looks like we are all having the same struggles (don't know if you saw my fatastic vid, but I had a massively bad weekend followed by depression) Maybe we need to have a maintain lifetime challenge or something!! :O
I have no doubt you succeed now that you have a gameplan. We are in this together, Jess!
I had the same problem when I reached goal. It was almost like what do I do now? Loosing weight was a challenge and something was happening, but staying the same? It was really difficult for me to feel motivated to do all I was doing just to try and stay the same weight. Keep with it! I've been a lifetime member for almost 2 years, but since January of this year I have consistently been around the same weight! You can do it Jess! I'll be looking for tips from ya on how to succeed at lifetime!
I'm not trying to give advice since I haven't conquered this weight problem myself, but I've been wondering the same thing - how could I "diet"/restrict for a year or so and then reach goal and NOT feel like I have a "right" to indulge afterwards. I wonder if the best thing to do is track all week but allow yourself like 500 calories extra on sat/sun. That way you can indulge but still limit it? Just an idea, I don't know :-/
I'm soo incredibly excited that I get to see your pretty face on YouTube consistently with these new Blogs!! What you are going through is completely normal...I did the same exact thing (unfortunately right before I made lifetime *slaps self* haha). It's just a matter of realizing that Weightwatchers truly is a lifestyle and not a diet...but honestly, I believe that every now and then you need that period of time to indulge, feel bad, and then remotivate!
It's very natural that now that you're feeling so much better about your body you want to treat yourself from time to time and that you don't want to count that much... But you are not a failure at all! You motivated me so much that I started weight watchers again! And you still motivate me! Just by looking as great as you do!! You can do it! I know it ;-) xoxo
Don't forget that you still look & have done so amazing! A little setback is just that-a LITTLE setback...there's something huge to be said for the fact that you're catching yourself so quickly-so be proud of yourself! :) :) On that note, I'm selfishly glad you're going to be doing more videos because you're still such an inspiration to me :) You inspired me to start MY channel, so I hope that you have all the added success in the world from this idea!
It is so good to see you today. Your video made my morning. I hope you have a fabulous Monday. I am sending you Big hugs and kisses for your cheeks. God bless you and your family.

Girl.... that is a whole lot of work. Taking a picture of all the food you eat and making a video everyday!
And as for the cook off.... I'm still thinking of a food to do it over! :)
