Is there a way to eliminate the CD player completely?

I want to do this but not have the cd spinning in the trunk for no reason. I have not used a cd in 2 years; never plan to in the future.

No, if there is no working changer present the headunit (for lexus models at least) will not switch to the CD input.

No Lexus before '06 i believe came with an Auxiliary input from the factory.
