Saw GSBG live in San Fransisco last summer. They rocked. One of the best live acts I've ever seen. Did a great cover of Red Corvette(Prince)

@eddleved Been listening to Yonder since their earliest shows. These guys don't sound like them. Different instrumentation, different style...more of a traditional bluegrass sound, and better overall musicianship. Don't get me wrong, I love Yonder with all my heart, but Greensky Bluegrass are better bluegrass musicians. The only similarity I see here is that both bands play acoustic instruments and have covered Pink Floyd.

GSBG shreds it live. They cannot be compared to any other group out there today, and in the tradition of being talented as hell and able to jam whatever they want, whenever they want, every show is different. If you do not own them already, buy every CD they have, because every single one is better than the last! You will not be disappointed.
