Can a 1.66ghz DUO CORE PROCESSOR and 1GB of ram run spore? I have the video card and everything jsut the damn proccessing speed is iffy, the creature creator ran fine but lagged a lil bit when had all 3 babies dancing.

It's been confirmed. Spore is coming to the Wii and all next Gen consoles. The game is in development. The Gamespot staff inquired to this fact not too long ago.

You start out with your own galaxy featuring hundreds of millions of planets with each one only a couple kilobytes due to each being controlled by procedural generation! And other aliens are creations of other players who submitted their creature! Other players are only able o enter your galaxy if you have the option open! Or so I read.:-)
