  • Oh, and I forgot to add...I think I may have seen this particular Weatherstar 4000 in Kennebec, but I don't know for sure because I missed the first 30 seconds or so of the forecast.

  • I was on vacation in the central plains and Rockies in July 2009 and I spent one night in Kennebec, South Dakota. I was watching TV and I turned it to the Weather Channel and I saw the Weatherstar 4000. I was shocked not only because there are few of those remaining, but also because my cable company still had the 4000 too. It was replaced by the Intellistar in July 2010, however.

  • lol, I was gonna say, "Mitchell has 2 stars in the Area?? o.o" but it was for another area.

  • Wow lucky that you have your own unit. Can you do one for Atlantic City, NJ? I haven't seen the 4000 for my area since 1997.

  • This is making me SO nostalgic!

That system is so simple and you don't have the guy talking over the forecast; hence disrupting it!

I have the emulator where I can relive the good-old TWC days!

  • wow how is your weather channel have the old local on the 8s thingy?? from the 90s lol???

  • Nice! Another 4000!

  • @TWCmatthew i think this unit is his though.. i may be wrong.. lol

  • @TWCZach your right :)
