  • @ranchnugget I'm not sure, but they use this track a lot! The first season's music was scored by Ray Ellis and the second season used much of KPM's music library cues out of England. The 3rd season combined both.

  • DEAR EVERYONE

    DECIDED TO BECOME HAIR

  • Classic.

  • I always loved the Spider-Slayers with Jameson in the comics, I wish they would do that stuff in the movie, it would be awesome!

  • SPIDERMAN: I can't keep this up much longer.

JAMESON: Awww!!! Is our little webhead tired well you'll be taking a long rest soon.

JAMESON: Awww!!! (Laughs3X) Look!!! The Amazing Spider-Man trapped by the famous J. Jonah Jameson.

This is one of the best episodes of the original cartoon series.

  • SPIDERMAN: I've got that funny feeling again. He sure is a persistent bag of bolts so I'll just have to outmanouver him.

JAMESON: You're really at the end of your line this time Spiderman.

JAMESON: Ah!!! That web will break my fall too.

SPIDERMAN: This should pull him up. I forgot about your hard head Jameson.

    CLASSIC!!!

  • JAMESON: (Laughs8X)

SPIDERMAN: Got to get my second wind. The water maybe it will throw the robot off my trail.

SPIDERMAN: It worked, not a thing in sight. Wow!!! What a day this has been?

CLASSIC!!! Nothing beats original story dialogues from older cartoons.

  • JAMESON: Ok Spiderman you've had it!!!

SPIDERMAN: And you're going to get it. I don't understand this calls for a double shot. It must have a special surface.

JAMESON: Dodge all you want Spiderman you can't avoid me forever.

SPIDERMAN: I'd better take to the rooftops for awhile.

JAMESON: Going for a little climb Spiderman you can't get away from me.

SPIDERMAN: He, he can climb too.

JAMESON: Give up Spiderman I can go on forever.

JAMESON: You're beginning to look tired Spiderman.(Laugh12X)

  • 3:55 This is how I fuck the sky!

  • I only read a few of the spiderman comics, but in one spiderman shows his identity to the public and jamison faints at the thought that he payed spiderman to take pictures of himself. I'm thinking that by now or in the near future though spiderman will find a way to reconceal his identity. If i ever get any extra money I'll buy more issues.

  • @BGDD27 Yeah, his identity has been secret again for over three years (except for a few people who have re-learned it, JJJ not among them), via a plot device that sent most of the readers into fits of rage. I won't spoil it, but look up the One More Day storyline.

  • Pooh-bot?

  • "Pooh Bear"! LMAO!!

  • IM GLAD I OWN THE 52 EPISODES OF THIS CLASSIC CARTOON. THE MUSIC ALWAYS CAUGHT MY ATTENTION. LOVE THE MUSIC FROM THE SERIES. AND I AGREE WITH THE OTHER PERSON. TO ME-60'S CARTOON SPIDER-MAN HAS THE

    BEST VOICE.

  • 6:09 to 6:20 had me on the floor lol

  • 2:59 lmao who the hell lets a POOH BEAR robot walk the streets like that?..

  • This is my favorite episode. I love the soundtrack. Can anyone tell was it ever available? I love the chase scenes background music with the robot. I remember watching these episodes of the first season of Spiderman. Is it me or does the first season of Spiderman was much better than the second or even the third season which supposedly never aired. The qualilty of the second season was very poor as the stories.

  • Since when does spiderman have a FLASHLIGHT in his wrist??

  • 3:20 is my favorite Spider Man action music of the 1st season.

JJJ: MISS GRANT....TAKE THE REST OF THE DAY OFF...WITHOUT PAY OF COURSE!!!! LOL!!!!

  • OH GOD. A ROBET.

  • Strange thing about the Spidey/Jonah rivalry, why didn't Spider-Man ever dig up some dirt on him (I'm sure there was PLENTY) and blackmail him into leaving him alone? Sure, it wouldn't be the heroic thing to do, but JJJ was just NUTS!

  • @keen14you LOL, I love that idea...

  • @keen14you That sounds like a great idea. I wish Spidey did that. The way Jonah pics on him is so annoying! >:(

Though don't forget, deep down, Jonah knows Spidey is actully good. He does this because he's so jealous and therefore wants to make him look like a criminal.

  • @keen14you Actually, in the comics J.J. is honest and has integrity, despite his personality. He's long been a supporter of civil rights, freedom of speech, and opposed the mob.

  • 3:04 to 3:10

    Haters gonna hate.

  • JJJ's expression upon hearing that his own face would be on that bot was priceless 2:03. In fact all the expressions on JJJ's face, including the one on the bot were really good. Loved the swagger on that bot too, definitely RWA (Robot With Attitude).

And of course the music was as jazzy as ever. Despite all the cost cutting, that music score, the character posturing, Spidey swing / web shooting scenes and the New York one liners make these cartoons truly original American classics.

  • @Karrenola

I love the look on Betty's face just before she pulls the plug.

  • @fagbert I know look at her @ 5:08

  • all i have to say is...lol

  • the robot and music @2:52 is kinda creepy, but check out his pimp walk at 3:04 and 3:10. hilarious!

  • Classic episode man the memories....

  • i loved this story in the comics and im so happy that it got animated

  • I love the music, and Peter/Spidey's voice here is the best ever. And did I mention that I happen to own the original Steve Ditko comic book of this story!

  • I have the original comic book as well, probably my favorite story from the Ditko era.

  • Yeah, the Ditko art is so awesome......although as a kid, I thought it kind of sucked.....until a comic book collector told me I was crazy......and he was right. The art is Fantastic....not meant to be realistic.....but surreal. Definitely Good Stuff!

  • Of course that issue(ASM #25) was the first physical appearance of Mary Jane Watson, although her face and hair were hidden.Norman Osborn also appears for the first time as an unnamed man leaving Jameson's office after buying an ad in the Daily Bugle.

  • I watched this episode yesterday on teletoon retro!

  • I thought a better way they could have had Spidey outwit the robot was to have him swing to a junkyard, and use a magnet crane to drop him into a compactor.

  • This would have been even better if they expanded it the way "Menace of Mysterio" was.

  • At the 4:47 mark, why didn't his spider sense warn him that the robot was about to grab him? It warned him at the beginning of the cartoon.

  • its just like the comic amazing spiderman 25#

  • what a classic !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love the music starting at 3:21 great stuff

  • I am not a big fan of season 1 as oppossed to 2/3 but this is one of the episodes I truly enjoyed from the 1st season. thanks for posting!

  • This is one memorable episode ! Thanks for posting it !

  • great to see this in the ENGLISH. For a long time only the Spanish was posted on Youtube. Thanks BeautyStruck.

  • Cool, thanks...

although I think the "Hombre Araña" opening theme song IS kinda catchy, lol. Check my playlists for the entire series!

  • @beautystruck El Hombre Araña them was sung by chilean singer Capitán Memo who made a living for singing cartoon and anime themes in Spanish, the He-Man theme is really awesome, he actually got hos osngs recorded into several albums.
