came out amaaaazing. and you don't even need to keep them in the whole night. just an hour or so will curl them.

i put one curl in, to see how it'd look & after only 10MINS it was curly. so i think at tops an hour should make it nice. thanks :)

btw, i have a sewn-in remy virgin indian hair so results may vary :p

Girl, lemme tell you. I saw this vid and was like omg! I LOVE the way the paper bag curls came out. I tried it on my own natural hair, and mind you I don't have long hair, but when i did it the curls came out so beautiful. I now use this process all the time! You really do have great vids and tutorials! Keep it up girl!

This is not economical! It's the complete opposite. You have to toss the paper bag away when you're done. Sure it is biodegradable, but it takes more energy to make a paper bag than a plastic one. And after it is coated with conditioner and what not, it is no longer recyclable. Pin curls are economical because you reuse the pins, and do not throw them away.

@buddyboognish but nobody said you have to use only paper bag . you can also use old paper that you think is useless. old school or office materials . less electricity . recycling paper . what's not to like .?

@pinky01cute Once the hair product is absorbed into the paper, it cannot be recycled. I'd rather recycle the paper I don't need in the recycling bin . If you invest in some metal pins, you can reuse them as many times as you want, and you don't need electricity to set curls. And they only cost a couple bucks for 12 pins. I'm not trying to attack, just educate.
