  • Great video very helpful thanx

  • What the hell at first i thought that was batteries

  • The fourth day of searching for Superlagg's comment... Running low on supplies...

  • AK LMG lol

  • @ReiiDzHD You obviously have never seen a real bullet before, when they are flipped upside down It kind of looks like a battery but you can see the primer and paint on the back of the shell. The reason the paint is on the shell is to keep water from getting inside the casing and when you see him unloading the magazine you can see that they are clearly not batteries they are 7.62x39 rounds

  • nice thank you . you just showed me how to load my drum thx!! other vids i was like 0.o?? wut

  • there not batteries fuckers

  • FAKE THERE NOT BULLETS THERE BATRIES

  • @ReiiDzHD wait how are those batteries? have you ever seen a bullet?

  • @1alphasam FAKE

  • @ReiiDzHD oh i get it

  • @UNDFTD31 fuck you

  • @Locomikey666 Yeah, I know it does. The OP didn't put a space between the 5 and the "r", so it looks like seventy-fifitherd. It's called a joke...You should laugh sometime MIKEY, if not somebody might stab ya in the face with a soldering iron....

  • Seventy-Fiftherd

  • 72 BULLETS FTW!!!!!!!!????????????

  • @MrQerem wtf you mean dumbfuck

  • @puiselo cause it had 72 bullets dumfuck

  • wow what a lot of batteries = )

  • those look like batteries from up

  • awsome,!

  • I have one for my AK but as all good "Grand and Glorious Heroes of the Revolution" (I forget what movie that was from, hmmm) I prefer two 30 rd. banana clips taped together. Yeah, it's 60 rds vs 75 rds but it's a lot easier to handle the gun even if you have to flip the clip after the first 30. However, if you're going to be rolling around in the sand, the 75 rd drum will keep grit out better then the open 30 rd clips. But, with clip loader strips, you can reload the 30 rds much MUCH faster!!

  • shoulda used soh ;)

  • Didn't think to check the web before trying to load one of those, nearly broke a finger. When the spring is wound and you hit that center release it can shoot sparks out lol. Good job on the video,

  • Cool vid very interesting.

  • Thank you so much! I have one of these for my Romanian made AK and I kept trying to figure it out but couldnt get the spring to build enough tension to carry the rounds all the way around much less feed correctly without jamming. This clears up everything

  • I can't manage to load it this fast ;p

  • How it's called that song ??

  • Would get usefull if zombie attack ;)

  • congratulations young jimmy, you now have the fire capacity of a battalion of men with muzzle loaders

  • Thanks, your pictures are worth more than 1000 obtuse words on an instruction sheet.

But I counted only 70 rounds that you put in -- & the thing is supposed to hold 75???

  • My friend had a 75rd mag too.. he said it jammed a lot, is that true?

  • ok

  • I've never seen the inside of a drum mag. That is some pretty sweet engineering!

  • So you went through all that trouble just to un load it again that suks but thx 4 doing it anyway

  • nice idea.. it would be a better addition to the AK's machinegun counterpart though.

  • @tiprodoc

Also good for some bump firing.

  • I wish I lived in America they first thing I would do would be to buy some guns and fuck up some cans :) so fun

  • i love how my real steel AK is only 8.5 lbs but i bought an airsoft one tht weighs 9.5 haha

  • Excellent, I thought that other video winding the spring back looked a bit... dangerous.

  • And as soon as you finish putting all the bullets in your mag, the war is over!

  • Warning itz a pain in ass to load

  • Igggggtfhbhhjfygigftgu fucking gguyjvhkgffcfcfucdasiaaaaasddawwwg jews ufjcggigfhwwawwbcfdjvgxzhare going to abolish germany with ak 47

  • Hey dudes, I load mine a bit differently. I put the first round into the spot as if it were the last one about to be chambered, and then wind the inner tab 4 times to make sure its strong enough to push it into place. I then wind the unit all the way around until it stops with out pushing the spring releas button. I then put the next four into the feeding head, which will lock the unit from moving. I then load it with the other 70rds, close, latch, and know that I will not have to rewind ever!

  • @FrogMike81

But would you want to leave it loaded a long time before firing? Wouldn't that possibly damage the spring?

  • @Thunkful2 Yes, that will weaken the spring if left with full tension on it. When I said that I will not have to rewind ever, I was referring to having to rewind to get proper feed while shooting. I have never had problems with running out of tension half way through shooting, but I have seen it happen in vid named ak47 75rd drum vs m16 100rd drum. Because the guy did not properly wind the 75, it kept having to be rewound. If you want to keep it loaded, leave it unwound. wind 4 times to unload!

  • @mcsnowman11

"Your a dumb ass, and btw the At4 shoulder rocket launcher is German ;)"

    Wrong

    The At-4 is swedish. ;)

  • To complicated, I think it would be easier to just throw rocks.

  • thats alot of batteries

  • The Ak is an amazing weapon but being over 60 years old now it is being outpaced by newer higher velocity rounds that deliver the same knock down as 7.62x39mm with greater accuracy over greater ranges and lighter composiote mterials. However thier is a litany of principals that werre laid down by the AK that nearly every modern gun uses in its design. The AK has its place in history as being one of the best but the era that spawned has passed and its time to go the pasture dear Ak.

  • @Iwantedtoknow16802 Pretty much. People don't understand its 60 years old and that of course newer firearms are going to be better.. It would be like comparing a really old car to a new car. BUT without that old cars design to reference to, that new car may be completely different today

  • @ScopedPewPew

What new car is better than an 57 Chevy?

  • @Superlagg No you just need to go away.

  • @Superlagg Lol stfu kid, If you Didnt know the Ak-47 is THE pioneer in automatic assault rifles. Most of the assault rifles out there were built off the Ak-47. Your a dumb ass, and btw the At4 shoulder rocket launcher is German ;)

  • @Superlagg you must be a cod fag.

  • @Superlagg If m16s are sooo good... What happened in Vietnam? American guns are mostly just good on paper with no real life use. Thats the truth when you americans understand that you might start building guns to european standards.

  • @7Jfigo Vietnam? What it looks like to me:

    1) An idealist would be Messiah president (LBJ) fought a no-win war.

    2) The USA never set out to conquer Vietnam.

    3) The USA propped up the S Vietnam govt.

    4) The USA populace got fed up & demanded an end.

    5) The USA withdrew troups & left it to S Vietnam after maintaining & protecting them so long.

    6) Congress cut off logistical support of S Vietnam. Watergate had weakened the president.

    7) 2 years after USA left, S. Vietnam fell to the Communist north

  • @7Jfigo

What happened in Vietnam is that many, many more N Vietnamese soldiers were killed than Americans. But American fought an idealistic no-win war to help the S. Vietnamese. It had nothing to do with the rifles used. The USA could have turned the entire Vietnam back to the stone age in a month had it had such a determination. But the USA was trying to be the Lone Ranger, using silver bullets (that don't poison), shoot the gun out of the bad-guy's hand, & be good-guys.

  • @Superlagg someone's been playing too much cod

  • @Superlagg loooooool ur such a cod fag

  • @Superlagg LOLOLOLOLOL you must be a CoD professional right?

  • @Superlagg i didnt know a kid could be some dumb

  • @Superlagg 1. Learn Grammar

    2. Learn to spell

    3. The AK is still used today, even though it was invented 64 years ago, and why? Because its a reliable, good gun. Its the most used gun in the world.

    4. America doesnt make better guns. It depends on how you look at it. The AK47 can unload 600 rounds in a minute after being buried in sand and mud for 2 weeks. Most guns cant do that.

    5. "Towelheads" are people, too. They are civilized, just in a different way.

    6. You are an idiot. Stop playing COD.

  • @Superlagg btw, AT4 are from sweden o.O

  • @Superlagg you are a racist douche-bag COD playing dick sucker. plus AKs are not made in Africa there are made in Russia (the real ones are). AKs are amazing they changed the world and without them there would not be m-16s. the ak would take anything you can throw at it you can put water down the barrel and it would still work you can put mud in the chamber and it will not jam. so you can just do the world a favor get off youtube or stop talking about cod when it is a vid of life

  • 16 guys dont have ak 47

  • I kinda prefer the mag I have it may take more toime to load it but I do not have to open it at all and still holds 75 rounds. Not sure who the manufacturer is though I bought it with my AK.

  • Great video! Just got my drum and the directions were crap! Thanks for showing me how to load it!!

  • you seem to have loaded it right, but you emptied it all wrong!

  • that is so freakin clever..

  • Ahh I only counted 73?

  • @DanielDFizzle

I only counted 70. The instructions say it only holds 73, unless you do some extra hoop-jumping to get 75 in.

  • Someones using gold clip size endorsement, Ammo Mule - keep your ammo cool and your bacon hot

    (references for the win)

  • great video man Thx

  • How much skin did you lose emptying the drum? Lol

  • i never realized a gun needs so many double A batteries to run it, thnx for the video

  • well if you thought ur ak with a 30 round clip was heavy get ready for your arms to fall off lol cool add-on tho

  • @Mr127superdee It's pretty miserable to lug around, and loud.

  • @taofledermaus I find you can quickly build up muscle to carry this stuff. I just use socks filled with some scrap metal and fit it to the forearm of my rifle. And then I lift and dry fire it every day. At the end of one month, the drum is usable and standard cap mags are a breeze. ;)

  • @Mr127superdee 30 round magazine, mate. Not clip.

  • @BlackSGMan thanks for the correction

  • Ordered one, confused look, youtube, happy now. Thanks uploader!

  • how would you load it if you were only putting 50 round in?

  • @dannywh1972 Just put the fifty rounds in and then rotate the reel counterclockwise by hand, then wind it up. Even if there were spaces left unfilled, the mag will jump to the next round and it will go on feeding.

  • Thank you for this SUPER instructional video. Mine is fully loaded, thanks to your video. Once loaded and closed, How many full turns of the spring , clockwise, should be made. I don't want to over stress the spring.

  • @twj19611015 You are welcome! If I recall, you turn it 4 or 5 times to fully wind it. You may need to experiment and verify that, but even if you only wind it 3 times, the worse that can happen is it stops feeding before you get through the all the rounds.

  • @twj19611015 My original booklet for the non lever type 75 round drums says 7 full revolutions when full and 5 full revolutions for 30 rounds. If fewer revolutions work reliably use them for fun shoots... but for shtf time use the recommended winding for reliable feeding even if a little grit finds it's way in.

  • aaa ya se como los piojosos saben usar un arma,mm bueno nadamas como cargarla, los gringos entrenana nuestros narcos yyy por youtube

  • What are these rounds?????Sorry i am new to guns and on the ammo they use!

Are they some short og NATO amunition?

  • @TonyMcDark 7.62x39mm ammo ak47 uses it.

  • looks like batterys upside down :L

  • thats a lot of batteries

  • how many ammo did I have for just ONE shot????

  • If one was to leave this magazine loaded for storage you would leave no spring tension on it? and wind it up when it was go time? or it has to be wound when loaded? Thanks, great Vid

  • @ASCBLUEYE It probably wouldn't harm the spring leaving it wound up but just to play it safe I leave it unwound.

  • plumcrazy is a great guy!!!

  • I am really confused on how you start off loading one area, then jump all over the place, seemingly randomly. Is there a purpose to that?

  • @luckylarudy I purposely did that to show that there is no order to load one of these. Just drop them in.

  • Way better than the thirty r mag I have in my ak

  • now just make a big fire and throw the full mag in it!!!!

  • I shoot AA batteries!

  • song?

  • класс!

  • @ILUVCHAW everyone puts 75rd

  • 75th*

  • is that 74 rounds? it seems that that's all i'm getting out of mine

  • @shtfuk668

the instructions say it holds 73 rounds, but you can get 75 in, if you are willing to jump through some extra hoops.

  • could you make a video of a breakdown of these by chance? mine is screwed up, needs some working, Great video by the way; right to the point

  • will it work if you load it in order?

  • Are these CA legal?

  • @XFUZZBALL HELL NO nothing is legal in cali except for POT well sortof.

  • @XFUZZBALL California legal?! Does it look cool and do you want it? No...its not man...

  • I have a feeling you just helped a terrorist

  • taofledermaus: Thanks for the instructions; excellent concept just showing us how to do it correctly. I tried it out today at the range. It worked well. Thanks again.

  • @Oprahd Good deal! Glad it was some help for you.

  • I would like to point out that the ammo you use the primes have a red paint on them and will leave a massive ammount of paint behind after you fire these rounds. I used similer ammo in my Nagunt

  • AA batteries xD!! oh wait someone already commented that.. damn.. ._.

  • Lol, the gun was jammed.

  • looks like deadly AA batteries :P

  • thanks for showing me the way!

  • And if you dont load it in that exact order shown its gonna fall apart on you

  • time to go zombie killing :)

  • well thats 73 you have to tilt the drum down twards the stem and pull the two rounds out that stop you from rotating the spindle back- then rotate the spindle backwards when it stops you will have room for 4 rounds- the 2 you took out and 2 more. thanks great vid :)

  • Good Video Guys.

  • Im not trying to be rude. But are you deaf or mute? Because you never talk.

  • @knowthetruth1492 Lol, I've got a lot of videos where I talk. However, if I spoke in this, only English-speaking people would understand me. Sometimes I try to not use words to explain things in my videos.

  • @taofledermaus i speak english dog

  • Beautiful!!!!!!!

  • Sweet. Just picked up a South Korean copy of the Chicom drum..... The directions were...... Interesting. Lol, Much better here!

  • The North Hollywood Shootout!

  • @TheChunkyKong ran thru my mind also... just watched the series...

  • @machinegunboy98 Same its kinda fucked up. Those guys Had balls.

  • @TheChunkyKong and AAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT of kevlar... they musta been like 4 bullet proof vests on, each loaded up with like 10 75 rd drum mags, and then they had HANDGUNS..... and in the trunk, they had about 5 more drum mags and a frigging FN FAL....

  • @machinegunboy98 Yup and the will to die. lmao One of the dudes just shot him self in the head. :l They had Balls.

  • @machinegunboy98 The Guy Driving had a full auto M16 to. How the hell did he get a Full auto M16? Most M16 today are Only 3 round or 1. And the Ak47 rounds they had where armor piercing rounds....

  • @mechredd yeah i know ur prob.. the korean drums are ok but the metal is fragile (the spring will easly break in a cold environment and the metal is thin so u gotta take care of it). I recommend the romanian drum because they will last a long time

  • @MrTrophyboy are you talking the rommy drum made with the chinese style or the euro style. because the chinese style rommy drums are made from stampings imported from korea. if your talking about the euro style then yes, they are tanks, but loading and unloading takes a wile and you cant store them loaded. theres positives and negitives on both.

  • I've been wanting a drum mag for my AK. I have been able to find Romanian and Korean ones. The Korean mags are a bit cheaper, but I don't know about their reliability. I wont mind paying an extra $10-15 for the Romanian ones if they work better than the Korean. Anyone have any experience with either?

  • 0:39-1:13 went all crazy ADHD on that chinese bitch ass! l Love your technique "1# open drum- 2# push button- 3# spin clockwise- 4# load bullets using the hunt and peck method you learned in 1st grade. LOL cool video though

  • Now i really thing that i can do one with a sheet of aluminium, 2 springs and the top of an ak mag. i know that it is illegal but it is just for fun

  • thanks this will come in handy for the zombies

  • i like the concept of drum mags, the people who had the idea couldve fucked it up bad and made a horrible concept

  • imagine a gun shooting all of that at once like a shotgun.

  • I love all the couch commando tards who bitch about "be careful loadind a drum can cut the shit out of your fingers" when all you have to do is keep the center button held down so you aren't winding against tension.

  • Epic button push

  • sweet I never knew how those things worked. Can you get legal pre-ban drum mags? I have pre ban 30rd mags so is it the same here? NY state btw.

  • What about the empty middle circle ??

  • Thanks alot! I have never really understood how a drum magazine feeds, but this video explained how. Thanks again, for another great video!

  • Why not redo this video and do it right this time? Wind the drum the correct number of times and load it up in logical order - not inserting and removing rounds in random order. Beautiful quality, bad execution.

  • @fmj2379 That is exactly the wrong way to load it. Why would you pre-wind it? That's insane and dangerous. You've turned a drum magazine into a blender.

  • @taofledermaus i think he meant, after loading it, wind it up. great video by the way. thanks for showing how they feed, i was curious about that part and didnt expect it to be shown

  • @kungfoosquirrel There is a video on YT that shows it being loaded as he described. Misinformation can be dangerous. The video shows them winding up the spool using their fingers. The spool is thin sheet metal and if your fingers slipped off it could really cut you up or damage the drum from all the stored energy. It's a strong spring. There's a reason why they put a spring-release on it and why there is a key to wind it up. You wouldn't want to store the drum wound up either.

  • @taofledermaus duely noted, i was thinking about purchasing a couple of them. if not advised otherwise, i probably would have kept them wound up and ready to do in case SHTF lol

  • @kungfoosquirrel The drum has performed very well. You have to realize that a fully loaded drum weighs almost 5 lbs. It really adds to the weight of an AK if you are going to be lugging it around. The drum is also really noisy. All the rounds clatter around in there, even when wound up. Should you buy a couple? Definitely. It only takes a couple seconds to wind them up when you are ready to use them.

  • @taofledermaus i was thinking about getting 2 to start with and mainly sticking with the 30 rnd mags

  • @taofledermaus

What's your reason against storing it "wound up"?

  • @damarei It's hard on the spring to keep it under tension for a long time. Just like the spring in a stick mag is going to compress if one keeps it stored full of rounds.

  • @taofledermaus

    That's an old wive's tale.

Compression and release, or compression beyond the spring's limit is the only way to wear out a spring.

Look up Young's Modulus for more details.

  • @damarei i agree. a spring isnt going to lose tension when its under load. coil springs on vehicles dont.

my XD mags stay loaded all the time, i know ill have a problem with bent feed lips before i have a spring tension problem.

its good that you know plumcrazy. good guy.

  • that must be a pain in the ass to load it

  • @mikeyschangy It's not that bad. It just makes for a very heavy rifle, almost doubles the weight of the AK.

  • @taofledermaus well, id hate to go into combat with those drums strapped to my waist...

  • how come you have to put them in in a special order?

  • @Choncho203 There's no special order, just fill it up.

  • i never new that was how drum clips worked ....at least for an AK

  • If you have the magazine ready to load ammo into after you have cranked the centerpiece all the way clockwise try putting three rounds into the FIRST three postions and rotate it slowely counter clockwise to send those three rounds into the mag throat. Then while making sure those three rounds stay there rotate back into its origonal ready to load position and just fill ALL the free spaces. That way Im getting 76 rounds and it functions out of my 75rnd mag. Thanks for the starting lesson tho!

  • I hate to say it man but that still isnt the correct way to load this magazine. Im able to get 76 rnds into my 75 rounder. I did use your video to start out with on how to load it but after taking a look at the magazine and pausing your video I was only able to count 72 or 73 rounds.

  • @stealthsniperz The right way is resetting the spool while disengaging the spring. The wrong way is resetting the spool under full spring tension and then trying to place the rounds in. A gun website channel has a video showing that dangerous method. This video is an attempt to undo stupid.

  • @taofledermaus Right right I leave the spring decompressed the whole time its not till all 76 rounds are sitting in the mag that I close the back and wind it up. I usually go about 18 clicks and thats plenty enough tension. But I deffinitally know what your talking about because when i first bought the mag the spring and centerpiece did startle me a little bit.

  • looks way overcomplicated.

  • That looks like some seriously tedious work

  • looks like its more work than its worth, I'll stick to boxed mags for my norinco

  • Awesome vid!!! thank you for the link to this vid from the slo motion one....pretty darn neat how they cycle to the follower...

  • Cool Video Bro.

  • 14 minutes to set up for 14 seconds of fun

  • @see46 like trying to get laid ^.^

  • @fambestera wtf lol
