  • Does it get an electric start up then produce it's own power

  • lmao r u serious?

  • lego headers are next :-) lol

  • I want a pneumatic engine for my model car too, but the problem is the air supply... I don't want to use an external air compressor D: Guess it's hard to make without one if you don't want to run out of air in 5 seconds...

  • nice!

  • I have a curiosity: How hot does it get?

  • sounds a littlebit like a real ^^

  • if you put a gear box in it its boss

  • What would happen if you push your finger in it??

  • That has more power than a Lada!

  • @leijatyyppi Very few people know what a Lada actually is...

  • are you an engenier or something? this is awesome...

  • can the speed be controlled??

  • very nice. tell me when your pistons will broken, i suppose they wasnt developed to handle such speed.

  • Its Diesel :D

  • @1601yannick thats exactly what i was thinking XD

  • This is a concept of how a car is and can be powered by air... the only problem is, that the petorl company BP copyrighted and bought out every possible idea for a car to be made to run on air because of them going bankrupt FUCK YOU BP

  • @braszboy95 What's funny:: Those copyrights are almost expired.

  • the best and realistic sound i've ever heared (i mean lego engines)

  • gimmi gimmi gimmi

  • Does it have any power?

  • Son?

    Yes?

    What you doing?

    Nothing..

    Okay

  • Sounds like a Diesel. :D

  • non stop sourse - fish pump + 9 volt battery... might not go fast tho

  • Amazing? ^^

  • Brilliant piece of engineering! I'm seriously impressed as an engineer myself. WOW, amazing what you can do with LEGO these days!

  • 1st of all...... BLOODY BRILLIANT !!!!..... now this may sound stupid but is it like a normal comubustion engine ?? it would be so cool to put a exhaust system on that beast... but seeing as its compressed air im guessing it doesnt need or actually cant have a set of extractors and mufflers still would be cool to play with the sound.... make it raspy or burbally by changing pipe thicknesses muffler/resonator combinations etc but thumbs up m8 nice work

  • instead if fuel injected its air injected lol :p

  • You can be ingenieur you know ? Create the futur electric car and you can be rich !!!

    (Sorry I am french)

  • @nicjasno do u need a air machine like tht to let it run or can u do it with hte hand? (bad english ik)

  • Like tractor ;)

  • i want to strap that baby to my dragster

to bad probaly coudnt move gear up so much.

  • wow.

  • hey if you could, make an entire car out of lego's. and use a engine like this

  • @HoneyIShrunkTheKids2 Wathc my other videos and you'll see i've already done that.

  • Where in the hell do these toys come from? All I had as a kid was Hot Wheels and T-racers.

  • Sound like a VW Diesel. Nice work

  • @Hancokatcrysis4ever very true

  • Dude,thats awsome!!!!!

  • why not put it in a lego car?

  • sounds like my dad's 4wd pajero idling

  • nice where can i get one of these ? and try to put nos i wonder what will happen? ! sorry my english is not that good i hope u understand

  • LOL! sounds like a DIESEL.

  • engine sound

  • Does it ever get hot from friction?

  • Does the vibration ever just shake pieces off?

  • How much horsepower are you managing to get out of it?

  • do the valves actually control airflow to the cylinders?

  • What kind of legos are these and where can I buy them?

  • @Pagweb LPEpower

  • Awesome model

  • Hey is it possible to power these with propane or butane small bottles?

  • @Naturepheonix It is, but i'm not sure the gas would be kind to the lego plastics and rubber seals.

  • @nicjasno is thair like a valve thing ot how do you controll the rpms of it, and could i hook up a co2 canister to it?

  • @nicjasno do u think small bbgun c02 canisters would be nice to it or melt, shred, destroy it?

  • @MegaLimera1n It would work without a problem.

  • @nicjasno thanx

  • @Naturepheonix Even if it were, producing combustible exhaust gasses is probably a bad idea...

  • @Naturepheonix

you can buy bottles of presurised air. (way cheaper by the way )

  • @beertjerockpiloot The ones used for cleaning?

  • @Naturepheonix yes it would work ,but expensive and waste of gas.

Why dont you buy a real air compressor(like you use for refill leaking car weels).srry my bad english

  • it would be good on a car for a eletric car take 5 car batterys and some oil and u got ur self a engine

  • sounds like a DIESEL !!

  • Nice model...where can I get pneumatic parts???

  • Well done was it all made from unmodified logo parts?

  • put it on a car and DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is this a your invention or there's the kit??

  • man i bet you would save a ton of gas on that.... considering it uses air.... why cant real cars do that... =(

  • @dnamick17 Because you'd have to compress the air, dipshit.

  • @Gatedialer it might be possible to use some sort of turbo or supercharger to fully power a car well maybe not a turbo cus you need a exhaust stroke for that but a turbo compresses air and that becomes hot so thats why you need a intercooler/

  • @thepolk1 you'd still need something to power the supercharger or turbocharger.

  • now put it in a car!!!

  • you are cool

  • Holy shit that could power my flashlight..

  • where do you buy lego parts for such projects???

all that they have in canada is pirate lego which is like a ship in 5 pieces 3 pirates and a monkey....oh yeah n the canon

  • @MrTakosSuprim on bricklink

  • @MrTakosSuprim lmao. Im pretty sure you can build it using the monkey and cannon

  • @MrTakosSuprim you should probably leave canadia for multiple other reasons

  • @MrTakosSuprim yup, I wanna build stuff like this

  • Too Cool!

  • pracuje jak diesel w golfie 2

  • can you make this run on steam?? or is it just a stupid thing to do??

  • @bazengao it would melt the plastic, but good idea.

  • @punisher102938 a friend of mine told me that he could run his v2 lego engine with steam with out melting it, and i said it was impossible, and he replied by saing that he'll use a very efficient cooling system, and if he used such thing the cilinders would be cold enough to condence the steam into water, thus making it harder or impossible to cycle. i just wanted to proof him wrong cuz his not smart enough to figure that out...

  • it actually has a timing chain that's funny

  • How do you figure out how to build something like that?

  • how fast does it go when it's standing in the sun?

  • sounds like an old diesel engine.

  • build a vehicle around it and let it drive!

    shure has some output

  • @yzorg Watch my other videos...

  • that has got to be one of the coolest toys I have seen to date, well impressed.

  • amazing, this is really a good job! maybe a small spray of silicone or teflon as example NCH certified, T-Lube or Accel would help the friction part on part but avoid oil and grease

  • where do you get one

  • @SuperCarman12 on the LPEpower homepage.

  • use 50 bar and castrol oil and i am sure you will get more rpm :D

  • was it hot when it stopped? :O

  • @KiskuexIkkaku It was cold.

  • @KiskuexIkkaku

When lots of decompression occurs, stuff will get cold

  • Wait... It's really run with air???

  • @MathewAlden yep.

  • put a compresor on it with speeded up gears and it would be maintaining for a loooooooooooooooooooooong time

  • Algore i think we solved alternative energy............

  • my runs at 1001 rpm! more!

  • the future lego car O_O could work

  • put it on a lego car

  • Man, I had legos when I was a kid, but they sure as hell weren't like this! xD

  • Install a water cooling, because it's going to overheat :)

  • Oi, this is the best v8 i have seen on the whole site its actually 8 shafts not four pushing two at a time.

  • @Greenwlf what shafts are you talking about?

  • haha imagine this thing making a car move

  • @Isjix You don't have to imagine. Watch my other videos. :)

  • @nicjasno Lol, I posted that before I even saw it.

  • where did you buy this ?

  • @faabforRc I didn't buy it. I made it. I sell them on w w w . LPEpower . c o m .

  • lol mix some watter with the air then see if it gose faster it works for water rockets

  • lol :D

sounds like a ford fiesta! explains a lot!

  • Comment removed

  • HA! it even sounds like an engine :p great work!

  • It's cool, but using cogs , I achived an rpm of 12000+

  • WOW... just, WOW... O.O

  • Ok, I only have a few words... Best V-8 air engine configuration, EVER!

  • sounds like an aero engine from the 1920's. awesome

  • what is that rev counter?? is it a lego piece??

  • @tiagoblanquet It's a lego speed computer, sold up untill 2005, i belive.

  • You should put that in a lego car with a transmission and RC. It would look and sound so cool!

  • i need one of those lol there soo bad ass!!

  • cool, it can move something, send me a message

  • It looks really nice! Can you send me a building guide??

  • Omg at low revs it sounds JUST like a big truck diesel!

  • wher do u uy them or do u make them

  • Can you give me instructions on how to build it.

  • k so i made somethin like this and i turned it on for about a minute or so and it started smoking i did use silicone spray but everything was still burning up

  • There's good and there's bad engineering.

  • @nicjasno thats harsh...

  • @nicjasno hey if you inject silicone in to the air stream will that work as easy lubrication for the pistons?

  • it's probably because you put a too high amount of pressure in it

  • can you use Lego pneumatic pistons to pump water?

  • maby you can try to do that

  • cool as hell man!

  • That is awesome!

  • someone please tell me how can i get my hands on one of those

  • Cool. Is there a manual about how to make one of those yourself ? because I think it's very cool and I want to make one myself :P

  • cool :) amazing engine xD i will now play with lego too i have te same accelometer ^^

  • put oil on parts

  • Oil destroys lego plastics. It's lubed with a silicon based lubricant.

  • @nicjasno

can it actually produce power? or is it just for looks? cause if it can power something you should plug it up to a Lego air compressor then to a Lego disc changer then to a Lego disc launcher and you would have the ultimate Lego aresenal.

  • It has a lot of power. Watch my other videos where it powers my lego mustang.

  • @nicjasno

put mineral oil on parts :))

  • @indoscorp Minaral oil + lego don't mix.

  • @indoscorp nah, grease is better for plastic i think

  • @LolzMan7756 *facepalm* this is plastic...

  • @Revosgonewild he said oil, then i said grease

  • @indoscorp He put silicone spray lubricant in the cylinders.

  • did you make this or did you buy the set?

  • I made this.

  • this technology been around for agees gas companies dont give a crap people been building lego engines that run off hoovers hes done the same but it runs off air pressure like a steam engine, the air pressure hes running it off is probably from a compressor wich runs off guess what ? petrol or electric.

  • put a snail in there

  • How i make one? 4 cil simple one!! how u time the air intake!! and outtake

  • how to attach it on your ride??

  • holy shit!

  • th guy in this vid hides his face bcuz air pneumatics are an oil industry threat.i mean they dont mess around.they eliminated ken saro wiwa for instance

  • xD i still can't believe you're 33 years old

  • i love the sound

  • Amazing.

  • OMG how to build this

  • Our gas problem is solved, and we can still have V8's =)

  • omg that is the most awesome lego thing ive seen

  • make a "how to" video? =) or perhaps a tips and tricks video?

    anyways... 5/5

  • put it a turbo to that diesel engine

  • They do not get hot at all anyway. Even if i wouldn't put any silicon lubricant in them, the expanding air actually cools them. So much infact that water droplets start collecting on them after an extended period of running. And any oil based lubricant destroys the rubber seasl and lego plastics.

  • i made a turbine, i'd say its close to 20,000 rpms and it just melts the drive shaft within 10 seconds.

  • Turbines are a different kind of beast. They will resonate pretty fast, and this vibration causes increased friction and melting. Turbines require excessive lubrication and have to be built very tight.

  • yeah...i tried making a cooling system for it, it was basically a water bottle with a small flexible tube that sprayed water on the axle. it still melted. i think wd40 or a motor oil might work better.

  • Silicon lubricant. WD40 destroys lego plastics.

  • i see. but isnt silicon lube too thick?

  • You have to use a silicon based spray lubricant. It has the same thickness as wd40, but has the oposite effect on the rubbers and plastics.

  • true...thanks =D

  • Try graphite, they use that in sterling engines

  • poor legos i bet the get pretty hot and waisted... btw great work

  • The legos suffer not at all.

  • look this video DvD361995
