When we chased my Mini Pin after she got loose, we ended up chasing after her in our cars at about 40mph. Those little dogs can RUN.
(We didn't end up catching her unfortunately. She had suffered a spinal fever months prior that caused brain damage, which is why she didn't respond to commands at all...)
