  • Awesome version Stingman....you can see that Bruce was very impressed and moved.

  • I've nver been a fan of Sting, either as a solo artist or with The Police but this is a great version of one of Springsteen's best songs.

  • @geppinosh I know, right?..and I have seen Bruce over ten times..and this cover is awesome!!

when you close your eyes and purse your lips, the music flows so...so smoothly through your head.

  • Amazing

  • you know you've created the perfect song when someone as great as Sting is performs the song exactly as you did..Bruce was visibly moved by Sting's tribute,as indeed were the crowd..so big well done to Sting, this was excellent..amazing to see one legend of rock praise another legend in this manner,,,so big well done to Sting..

  • Sting does a great job here.

    Great tribute to the Boss

  • I may be the only one but for me this song (and a lot of the stuff off that album really) is tied so closely to 9/11...it's a great song and really perfect fo r what NY and the nation went through that day <3 Really top notch stuff even after all these years.

  • @cesarr956 That's Bill Irwin. He's an incredible actor, dancer, singer and clown (member of the International Clown Hall of Fame). Irwin also played the role of Mr. Noodle on Sesame Street.

  • Who is the girl with glasses behind bruce?

  • my favorite part is when they all start cheering "bruuuuuuuce" at the end and bruce does his nervous little embarrassed laugh. so freaking cute!!! : )

my 2nd favorite part is watching the president stand up as he's decided to dance to mr. springsteen's work! love it!! : )

  • ulysses s. grant - THAT is hysterical!

  • Great cover

  • I haven't heard much of sting since the police man has his voice changed, sounds great though!

  • @Annonymus121

He lost the falsetto voice he had in the 80s, but you can still tell it's him.

  • Bruce is the perfect person to play Bruce's music; Sting+Bruce is the second perfect; and Sting is the third : )

  • guarantee you bruce is just dyeing there. All he wants to do is rock out with everyone

  • You know you've made it big when Ulysses S. Grant covers one of your songs.

  • @libertyordeaf - Now THAT's funny!! Laughed out loud on that. He does kinda favor Grant except for the blonde hair.

  • @libertyordeaf I love it.

  • @libertyordeaf that's hilarious!!!

  • @libertyordeaf One of the top ten youtube comments ever.

  • @libertyordeaf funny line-even though both Springsteen AND Sting are Gods to me..

  • @mrbriscoe2001 There was no disrespect meant to either. Actually, my wife and I had songs from both Bruce and Sting at our wedding.

  • @libertyordeaf no biggie;i bet even Sting would have laughed: a great, inspired line Sting and Springsteen songs at your wedding? Let me guess: Fields of Gold, was one of those songs, right?.

  • @mrbriscoe2001 Bingo. Although now I come to think of it, we had the Eva Cassidy version, not the Sting original. The Springsteen song was If I Should Fall Behind.

  • I believe that Bruce is the perfect person to play Bruce's Music

  • Sting is the Perfect person to play Bruce's Music
