Now I'm not a supra driver nor a lambo driver myself, I drive mercedes. But you can't compare an ultra modified car with a standard car. Put a max tuned supra up against a ferrari 599 xxx and it will get its arse handed to itself.

the mods aren't 15 years old though. that's a very bad comparison. the real marvel is the difference in the chassis and drivetrain. the 15 years of age really shows with the Supra. the lamborghini makes much better use of its 560 HP (probably like 450 AWHP) than the supra with its 646 RWHP. sorry, but the Lambo is the much better car. maybe a 750 RWHP Supra could take it.
The problem with Supra is, you have to wait for the power to deliver on every gear due to large boost and it has RWD where the Lamborghini has 4WD and better power output.
Tell the driver to install Anti lag system and get himself 4WD and take the rear wing off! :)

Everytime theres a very with this supra losing! Why is the this car always losing?Can the driver even drive? This supra has a stroker kit, but has a shitty turbo on it. U suppse to put a bigger size turbo if the displacement of the the engine is bigger. A stroker kit can handle 80+mm turbos with the right tuning and following upgrades.
The Supra is the ultimate car if all you ever drive on is a straight 2 mile runway or anywhere else long enough for the stupid turbo to spool up. but round where i live the roads have bends which means you have to do things like slow down and speed up! in other words in the real world the supra would have as much chance as Focus ST in trying to keep up with the lambo.

Some have different views but this is how i see it. Having 4 car lengths on commonly affordable 16 year old engineering is given supercar status? Some people said this shows how well supercar engineering has improved. In my mind it says look how far ahead the supra's design was.
Some people say they are glad the supra lost, let them have their fun because they know it doesnt happen too often lol.
I'm not going to knock the Supra, I like them. That being said, they didn't come out of the factory with these single turbo conversions, and 600+ whp. Other 20 year old (and older) cars can be modded to perform with, and beyond today's cream of the crop too.
Giving a teen a supercar like car is a BAD idea. Also, they are compared to those other cars because they are modified. Modding a Z06 or Lamborghini has amazing results. Also, you pay for the name a history when buying a supercar. A supra will always be a Toyota. I love Supras and Corvettes, and any other fast cars. I respect them.
I was saying the mkiv is 16 years old. I also like all fast cars (mainly vipers, vettes,supras and s7's) but what I was trying to get across was, why do a lot of people try to hate on supras? Nobody can ever give a decent/acceptable answer.

I cant imagine an alternative interpretation.
and that rear wing will be doing no favours for aero dynamics either... and again what people have been saying...the turbo boost on the supra will make it impossible to match the low down torque of that v10 gllardo
You make it seem like it was Stock vs. Stock... While yes, even though the Lambo costs more than the heavily modded Supra I'm sure those modifications were well into the $10,000's... This video just shows how well engineered supercars are today

you're missing the point...the lambo is stock whereas the supra most likely has $50,000 in mods purely for performance and it still cannot match the lambo. It also has almost 200 more horsepower..pretty sad...
There are supras that do 10s quarter mile with less than $50,000 mods. Trust me, the lambo cant do 10s quarter.. so even if you send $100,000 on the supra, it will alot faster and yet cheaper than the overpriced AUDI
i think the supra suspension,wheels,etc setup is pretty bad...there are 800+++ supras that don't loose traction like this one...anyway it would be interesting to see a race from 100-120km/h

This supra seems a little poor for 646whp. I think its overrated.
Get that insane evo against this lambo and it would open a big can of whoop ass.
We needs some real supras, the ones that are running a cool 800+ to show them the ropes.
This one seems to be underpowered and on the brink of blowing up every race... not good!

Funny that people trash talk supras yet they are always compared lambos, z06's etc.
Some have different views but this is how i see it. Having 4 car lengths on commonly affordable 16 year old engineering is given supercar status? Some people said this shows how well supercar engineering has improved. In my mind it says look how far ahead the supra's design was.
Some people say they are glad the supra lost, let them have their fun because they know it doesnt happen too often lol.

I'm not going to knock the Supra, I like them. That being said, they didn't come out of the factory with these single turbo conversions, and 600+ whp. Other 20 year old (and older) cars can be modded to perform with, and beyond today's cream of the crop too.

Giving a teen a supercar like car is a BAD idea. Also, they are compared to those other cars because they are modified. Modding a Z06 or Lamborghini has amazing results. Also, you pay for the name a history when buying a supercar. A supra will always be a Toyota. I love Supras and Corvettes, and any other fast cars. I respect them.

I was saying the mkiv is 16 years old. I also like all fast cars (mainly vipers, vettes,supras and s7's) but what I was trying to get across was, why do a lot of people try to hate on supras? Nobody can ever give a decent/acceptable answer.
IMO for a car that has a smaller displacement and doesnt come 500hp+ stock it does pretty well against these other cars that have the above.

What exactly is far ahead in terms of engrineering regarding the Toyota Supra?? Absolutly nothing. You can tune ANY car to 600-700HP with enough mods, and then compare it with a supercar (like the Lambo) in a straight line. No big deal.

im here on my couch... these dudes are rippin thru gears on a pro straight away in down right nasty machines...exotic sports cars i can only dream of... so INTENSE... and lets be real.. that driver is a normal guy just like us.. after all.. i did catch a glimps of that hole in his jeans... lol... both cars are amazing.. would be great to see toyota bring back the supra.. .they still havnt lost their style after all these years.. .they just seem to never become outdated

It is clear from this video that overall the Lambo is the faster car.The Supra has superior power and in gear acceleration.The Lambo has a healthy jump start, by 27secs the Supra is gaining, so despite the fact the Lambo is in front, the Toyota is actually carrying a higher speed by this point with less acceleration time, therefore it is(as defined by the laws of physics)the faster accelerating of the two cars.The facts are there to be seen. I cant imagine an alternative interpretation.

you're missing the point...the lambo is stock whereas the supra most likely has $50,000 in mods purely for performance and it still cannot match the lambo. It also has almost 200 more horsepower..pretty sad...

There are supras that do 10s quarter mile with less than $50,000 mods. Trust me, the lambo cant do 10s quarter.. so even if you send $100,000 on the supra, it will alot faster and yet cheaper than the overpriced AUDI

i think the supra suspension,wheels,etc setup is pretty bad...there are 800+++ supras that don't loose traction like this one...anyway it would be interesting to see a race from 100-120km/h
