@Countycup1 not all kids however :) i'm 15 and i practically live in the 80s! Everything I listen to is 70s,80s or 90s (with the exception of the artists from back then still going today such as Richard) I get to see Richard perform next month actually and I just saw Bryan Adams in October :) don't worry not all kids are screwed up
im sure this matt scannell is a force in his own thing but ive watched all the duo vids and his leads are very ordinary and not always the right choice,Richard carries him for me,,decent harmonies though.
he sounds fantastic. It always saddens me how these great performers who were huge 20 years ago are reduced to playing smokey bars when their glory days are over. he should be still selling out stadiums. but ofcourse they're reserved for the so called talent of the day.
I definitely agree with you. I admit I don't know a whole lot of what were probably some of the best talents of some years ago, but if they're anything like Richard Marx was and is, today's pop culture is definitely missing out.
I grew up with this stuff, and to see this amazing artists play the same type of gigs newcomers like myself play hurts. They deserve so much more recognition.
Actually he's rather successful, his albums always sell well and he's a successful producer too working with bands such as *NSYNC, Keith Urban, Barbra Streisand, Josh Groban, Vince Gill, Leann Rimes, 98°, Luther Vandross, Kenny Rogers, Sarah Brightman, and SHeDAISY. :) gooo marxy!
@enigma07777 ROFLNAIVETY, you actually think Richard Marxx isn't absolutely swimming like a pig in cash shaped shit regardless of the fact he doesn't sell his soul to play constantly on flamboyant world tours and television programmes? He's a song WRITER not just a singer =/ Put your pity somewhere else you foolish trailer park dweller.
@MrNerdSmasher I think you'll find if Richard Marx was offered a world tour playing stadiums he would take it. My pity was not directed at him by the way, but at the state of music today. But thanks for your kind words.

Only really like this song but I have to say he's BLOODY BRILLIANT live. I'm stunned.
His fans should be thrilled he does small venues like this. It's v personal and intimate. True artists perform this way.
