I had a 1988 toyota corolla fx and it was a pretty decent car. Pain in the arse to start when it was cold out because it was carborated but other than that I loved it.
mine was a lemon a hate it that carrr probably mine was the only bad one ! but i remember that it wasnt made in japan it was a mix ! good think they reck me!!! the insurance gave me back then like 4,000 with that money i bought a mazda 323 1987 it cost me 800 it was used but know what ?? best car i ever had !! i have a mazda today actually all my family has one !!
@yugo1313 yup. you probably had the only lemon and sold a classic toyota. you should have gone back to toyota afterward as the cars have been proven to be better.just saying.
I remember these cars, sleepers! I have a comparison test in one of my old Motor TRend or Car and Driver, where if I remember correctly it won, these were pretty quick cars in relation to it's competition!
I still have my own, still standing still stron an runs like hell I've installed doble carburator & headers it's speed demon...
