(having lived in Lynnwood in the '90s and Everett in the '00s) Yes. At this rate of expansion, I'm thinking it would just be best to nuke snoco from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
Still true. Don't see as much blue eyeshadow anymore but there's still the long painted fingernails, big hoop earrings, cheap shoes and tawdry clothes.
I love this because I grew up in Edmonds, right next to Lynnwood (I'm 21). I didn't know that Lynnwood had the reputation of being a suburban white trash town. However, I definitely knew people who fit the type mocked in this video. It is interesting to see Everett mentioned since Everett seems to have picked up where Lynnwood left off.
Yeah, if Goldies is still there, it should be the Lynnwood cultural equivalent to the Smithsonian, or maybe more like the Rosicrucian one in San Jose. I'm pretty much an expat Lynnwood, having lived in a trailer in bother Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace, dine and dashed the Pinecone, and having even been busted by the park and ride spam and spent a night in their municipal jail ... and, uh, I think I may still have a warrant there? Not going to find out! Damn, Portland saved my ass!
One of the best skits they ever did. My favorite parts, "Wall-a-Bangs," "Not found in Nature Only in Lynnwood Blue," and her boyfriend on her nails. Almost Live forever!!!
Almost Live! is one of my all time favorite TV shows. I never get tired of their funny skits about the Seattle area. I have heard that they never will release these shows on to DVD. I'm glad that I did manage to get over 240 of these shows recorded to DVD. I will just have to be satisfied with these for now.
LMFAO!!! You are so right! My city (Tacoma) got its fair share of hits over the years, too. Even the East wasn't safe!! Why was this show ever cancelled?? Just when it was going national and everything! Dammit.
It started to fall off in the late '90's. '90-'95 episodes were pure genius. This show has always been 100 times better than SNL. So many classic skits, so many classic recurring skits. COPS in Kent was fucking hilarious.
This hairstyle never went out of fashion in Arlington.

Lynnwood has decent bus service because none of the local losers have driver licenses.

So long as it's a bus out of Lynnwood.

Isn't Renton's official city slogan "Renton, we know we're bad but we are still better that White Center!"?

The new one is (was at least):
"In Renton we're ahead of the curve"
