  • can you use a volt tacle pichu?

  • Whitey Pokémon Battling Fed.

  • fuck smogon im using syther

  • I Found Out What Pokemon I Would Be :D

    I Would Be Porygon 2 :D

  • little cup without scyther!?

Why do american players like to set so much restrictions?

  • scyther is uu

  • Wait so just how many evs can I put sorry for being dumb

  • dammit i was breeding a yanma to be my lead... =(

  • Do i need to level my pokemon to lvl 5 or could it be say, lvl 100 and be set to lvl 5 on wi-fi? or isnt that option available? Thanks in advance :]

  • Oh. My fave PKMN is banned. Sneasel.

  • munchlax is going to be a problem.

  • is deapseescale banned too?

also for breeding lvlup moves, BOTH parents need to know the move

don't most things have 19 HP, so that you can survive THAT much longer with an LO?

  • no, it isn't. But then again, stall doesn't work well in Little Cup.

  • but with deepseescale+iron defense it could prolly get stuff doing so little damage stall could work I think

  • true. and with Oran berry recoving 3/4 health... oh god...

  • @xabu9001 I don't know about the DSS but the recoil of LO varies with how much HP the pokemon has

  • @unknown2558isback I know.... LO deals 10% of hp... always rounded down, so with 19 HP, you haven't hit 20, so you still take 1 HP, that was what I was saying... LO is based on HP...

  • Don't forget to mention Uber Clause as Wynaut is too powerful for Little Cup like Wobbuffet was for Standard.

  • wait a minute wynaut is allowed huh o_o

  • @EBAfanReborn wynaut is an uber outside of little cup, so I would expect that it is an uber inside little cup

  • @xabu9001 It's actually not. It's considered overpowering in OU, but not in Little Cup.

  • @EBAfanReborn wynaut is uber

  • Comment removed

  • Gosh you know too much lol, I remember back when you were just trying this out >.>.

  • basically, its like a baby battle

  • Dragon Rage is banned!

Scarf bagon with Dragon rage could sweep an entire team.

    (Sonic Boom is also banned).

  • @DaRysta of course they are, they are like OHKO moves in standard just without the low acc of OHKO moves!

  • abra SHOULD be banned.

  • Actually, it isn't the fastest and is frail as paper, dies to any priority.

  • Of course it isn't the fastest, but what can survive aNY of it's hits on a switch out?

It's Sp.Att and Speed are incredibly fast.

And it doesn't NEED to survive anything because it's quick enough.

  • It hits 14 speed speed with a neutral nature, + nature is recommended so you can outspeed all 14 speed scarfers thanks to it having 15 speed with a + nature.

That's only if you're playing on some forum where dragon rage isn't banned.

  • what about pokes that dont evolve at all? can you still use those at lvl 5?

  • u are stupid!

  • so if a level 5 pokemon i am using can i give it moves it learns later on to use in battle

  • No, that isn't possible.

  • I go lil cup at level 100

Is that acceptable in general even though half the rules are broken?

  • Isnt this like NFE

  • No. It's completely different.

  • it has to be the pokemon that evolves from the egg.

  • @BlastioseBreeder they HATCH from an egg....

  • o lmao thanks

  • Can i use my lv 100 arceus?

  • lol

  • Now wait, you confused me on one thing. You said that moves a pokemon could learn from level up after level 5 is legal is legal, as long as you breed it with that move. But then you said something really fast about Generlis pokemon (I have no idea what those are) can only have moves up to level 5 and TMs and HMs........ What are Generlis pokemon?

  • Genderless. They can't learn any level up moves they get after level 5, since they can only breed with ditto, so they're limited to TMs and tutor moves, or any moves they get before level 5.

  • Oh, thanks. :)

  • Can I use pikachu?

  • i love you tgwis♥

  • How do you EV train your guys w/o leveling them past lvl 5?

  • Don't quote me on this, but they do it by using the lowest level hotspots they can find and equipping the other 5 pokes with Exp. Share. Use the power item you need + pokerus and switch everything else in to get the experience possible.

  • the least experience possible.*

  • Geez! Gah, that sounds like it would take ages but, I see how that method would work. Thanks!

  • No problem. I'm glad to help. : )

  • I' not the patient type. Anyone want to little cup right now?

  • why not just do lvl 1 battles, they're actually really fun

  • Am i aloud to use MAGIKARP? D:

  • ofcourse.

  • Most people sav anyways. I don't :)

  • Me too! -high fives-

  • You think Scyther is banned?

    Oh, we'll see, we'll see.

  • Scyther is to awesome for the other baby pokemanz.

  • I'll accept that answer.

  • Scyther IS banned it destroys everything in the metagame, it and Sneasel are too powerful for Little Cup.

  • Nah son, that's what you think. Scyther is allowed

    *Jedi hand motion*

  • Scyther has the best overall defences of all the pokemon in little cup too :D.

  • "A moveset consisting of Swords Dance, Aerial Ace, Quick Attack and Brick Break is almost unstoppable in Little Cup, with no Pokémon in Little Cup able to resist that attack combination. Both Aerial Ace and Quick Attack have their power boosted by 50% due to Technician, the latter attack is vital in stopping Pokémon using Choice Scarf to outspeed it or in stopping slower users of priority attacks." that's from Smogon, Scyther has the 2nd highest attack stat in Little Cup and is insanely good.

  • *JEDI FUCKING HAND MOTION*

  • About the EV spreads in little cup, you need to look at the last number for the base stat you want to raise. It will take a different number of EVs to raise the stat by a single point. This table shows the amount of EVs required for each: * 3 - 12/92/172/252 EVs * 4 - 4/84/164/244 EVs * 5 - 76/156/236 EVs * 6 - 68/148/228 EVs * 7 - 60/140/220 EVs * 8 - 52/132/212 EVs * 9 - 44/124/204 EVs * 0 - 36/116/196 EVs * 1 - 28/108/188 EVs * 2 - 20/100/180 EVs

  • Wow, youtube really buggered that up. I hope it's still readable though.

About the hidden power part, if you reduce the EV on one stat by 1, to get the right hidden power, you just need to give that stat 4 more EVs to get it back to normal.

Some pokemon need their IVs lowered to get 19 HP for life orb. Some pokemon (like eevee) can not get 19 HP or below.

Using pokemon with event moves simply means you can't have any level up move the pokemon learns as well, or any egg moves.

  • Finally, if you want to check out actual little cup battles, then there are a few people who have them posted on youtube. SkynetONM has quite a few, although they aren't narrated. TGWIS, 2betheman and poke413 all have at least one. And of course, there's myself! I have quite a few narrated little cup battles, since it's probably my favourite metagame at the moment.

I hope this advertising won't be looked down on. Also, I'm done with the huge comments :D.

  • thanks TGWIS...im deffinately trying it out!

  • @TWGIS can i battle u with a mixed team

  • does chansey count cos if you breed homos without an item or somethin you hatch a chansey

  • As far as I uderstood it, Chansey doesn't count, since it is an evolved Pokemon.

  • Yeah, happiny is the stage 1 pokemon, chansey isn't allowed.

  • At least the IVs/EVs have very little effect....I might give it a shot.

  • Well, speed still has a huge effect and is one of the most important stats in little cup, it being the extremely offensive metagame it is. Of course, priority is all over the place too.

  • This is definitely good to know. Very Informing.

  • Can i use my extreme spd bellydrum zzagoon or not?

  • no

he said so at the end of the vid

  • No, since you can't breed extreme speed onto zigzagoon and the one you get from pokemon box obviously can't learn belly drum, since it learns it after level 5.

  • Little Cup? The idea of little cup first introduced in Pokemon Stadium 2 for the N64 in 2001. This is nothing of the sorts. There is EV training here. This is a actual tier and metagame.

  • @2BetheMan ok then, lvl 1 battles are very fun too =P

  • I already can't wait for this... (D)

    You know what I mean.

Or is this also a bad comment? =(

  • how are we supposed to ev train them?? do they not eed to gain exp t gain ev's? well they will be up at lvl 5 in no time. im really confussed here could you help me out

  • pokesav

  • You could use vitamins and EV reducing berries. If you did it this way, you'd only need to fight a few more wild pokemon to get the extra EVs you'd need.

I use pokesav as well, but I'd imagine it's entirely possible to EV train without going over level 5. If you switch every pokemon in your team into the pokemon, you could split the experience, making it easier to stay under level 5. That might not even be necessary though.

  • You can keep EV training at Level 5, just use the box trick. Just don't get too much experience.

  • how do you want to put 252 ev on something before it becomes level 6 ???

  • i was awake :D

  • cant wait to do little cup battles
