Saleen takes these cars which were originally Fords and gut them out from nose to tail, afterwards Saleen replaces ALL of Fords Cosmetic(Exterior)and Mechanical parts(including Ford's engine)with ALL Saleen of parts.

Saleen is an Independent company and is not owned by Ford and Ford does not have anything to do with the Saleen S281 and S302 cars nor owns the registered rights to the cars.

This whole process is exactly the same process the GT 500's go threw when ther turned into super snakes
