Idiots, It does not reduce ANY sound! That would make it a supressor.

In reality now, It is a Noveske Flash Hider that is designed to reduce concussion when firing indoors.

You're absolutely right. ANY sound reduction whatsoever would qualify it as a supressor AND it would have to registered as a short-barreled rifle since he has a stock on it with a 16">barrel. That's $400 in tax stamps to the ATF... One more thing- it isn't the shortest. There's actually a 4.5'' barreled system that is the shortest production model ever. Not to be a snob, but the ATF doesn't mess around with "supressors" and s.b.r.'s in the USA.

cool novelty. but i wonder how effective this sbr is for self defense. the bullet off of a 7.5" barrel will not gain enough momentum to reach a 5.56 fragmentation range, >2700 fps. so it is like punching high speed 22 LRs but with an ridiculous bang and flash. Even if you use 77 gr for better fragmentation, the bullet still will not reach the required 2400 fps. hmmm. but cute gun nonetheless

yes sir i agree. some experts here says that it has a + - velocity of 1900- 2100 FPS.

be careful though. even with the krink flash hider, at 7.5" barrel, the bang off that gun could really hurt your ears especially that of your companions in the car. you could literally blow off your eardrums. since you are there already, think of attaching a suppressor (6" length - which would actually just add about 2.5" in total length since it will take up about 3.5" of the krink). this not only will eliminate the possibility of damaging your ears...

well in the philippines.... the law is actually gray. but hey, in a firefight, you just gotta look after your own ass. then after the firefight (hopefully you are still standing up), dispose the suppressor. then you are clear.
