  • Bolsheviks in this wrestlemania? Did Jim Evans and Reno Riggins also wrestle?

  • Why couldn't this match be longer instead of it being less than a minute, stupid Hart Foundation couldn't even wait till the anthem was over.

  • The Hitman and the Anvil! They were the best! :D The bolsheviks got their butts handed to them in swift time too!

  • Senorslopsalot still believes in Santa Claus.

  • The Bolsheviks is the weakest tag team ever!!!!!

  • @mestisoman It's mainly Borus Zhukov's Fault,he sucked in WWF. Poor Nikolai was better teaming with Iron Sheik years earlier. ahahahahah

  • the harts were one of the finest tag teams of all times?

  • We need Ax and Smash to do this to some Iraqi or arab tag team

  • bret and jim wanted to sing oh Canada

  • I'm thinking that this match wasn't originally planned to be short.

  • @landrykkb It was, this was the beginning of the Bret Hart mega push that ended with him winning the World Title from Flair a couple of years later.

  • @DrJReefer Actually,Bret's push didn't take off until the following year.

  • Thats why I love Bret and The Hart Foundation, I'll always remember this match, if not just for Bret helping the Ref count to three, dirty Ruskies

  • At the 1:40 second mark you can see my Daughter (holding her Hulkamania Bear) on my shoulder... .........we were in the 5th row...............

  • lol That was so cool/ Looks like the Hart Foundation had an easy night.

  • over 80,000 people there look on google

  • @TheLitafan1 I think the official number was 67,676

  • Blink and you'll miss this match.

  • Hmm... Lasted longer than I remembered.

  • take it they were running behind shedule...and Vince said "just make it quick"

  • Incredibly disrespectful on the part of the Hart Foundation. Makes you think they may not have been so confident coming into this match. Without question, the size and power advantage goes to the Bolsheviks here, which may explain why Bret and the Anvil needed to resort to a cheap shot.

  • @senorslopsalot Do you know who you are talking about ? I wanna ask you just one question. Who are the Bolsheviks ?? Who are they ?? Ya... exactly. We all know who Bret & Anvil are, if the Bolsheviks were so 'stronge' then they should of handled one cheap shot right ?? Wrong, because THEY SUCK ! Hart Foundation Rules !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nuff sed Biotch.....

  • @DjFreshpac Nicolai Volkoff and Boris Zhukoff. That's who they are. They were also two very powerful Soviet professional wrestlers who, I have to believe, had the edge here as far as pure strength goes. Hart and Neidhart knew this and resorted to an unapologetic cheap shot. I suppose you can't blame them when you take a look at the Bolshiviks proven ring savvy. By the way, Ventura is exactly right when he talks about how disrespectful this was on the part of the Hart Foundation.

  • @DjFreshpac Complete lack of civility and sportsmanship.

  • @senorslopsalot Then why dont you go lend them a hand ? Its must have been a really really BIG cheap shot, because they only lasted what 15SEC ??? HAHAHAHA

Once you get into the RING its time to fight, not time to be singing national anthems. So so sad too bad :( :( :( :( :(

  • @DjFreshpac That attitude is unacceptable in the world of professional sports. The Bolsheviks were completely within their rights while singing their national anthem. I'm sure you would have no problem should the Hart Foundation perform the Canadian national anthem prior to the match. Might I remind you, the bell had yet to ring when Boris and Nicolai were savagely attacked from behind. Unfortunately, this is the type of behavior we had come to expect from the Hart Foundation. Embarrassing.

  • @senorslopsalot Well you know something, the Bolsheviks SUCK, you call the hart foundation embarrassing ?? Ummm your boys dont know a headlock from a facelock, they dont know sh*t about wrestling, and it shows, when was the last time they won a title .... ??? Hmmm let me think, NEVER ! They NEVER won ANYTHING. Oh wait, they won an award for worst tag team of the year in 1988 !!! Hahahahahhahahhaahhahahahaha

Now go Freakin RIDE IT !

    Hart Foundation RULES !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @DjFreshpac Anyone who thinks that the way the Hart Foundation got that win is not a shameful embarrassment has absolutely no sense of fair play or, for that matter, what the very bedrock of professional wrestling is laid upon. The Hart Foundation simply spit upon the traditions of the Sport of Kings, and for what; a mere title shot. They knew they didn't have what it took to take the Bolsheviks face-to-face, so they resorted to an underhanded cheap shot. Typical behavior, unfortunately.

  • @senorslopsalot Well why dont you go do something about it ?? I hate to break it to you but the Bolsheviks SUCK. What did they WIN in WWF ?? JACKSHIT !! Stop crying and complaining about the hart foundation. This was one win in which your clowns got a 'cheap shot' to them and then lost, what happened to them in ALL their OTHER matches? What are you trying to get at here, no one cares about the Bolsheviks because they are not at ANY tag teams level, they couldnt lace the hart foundations boots!

  • @DjFreshpac The issue at hand here is the cowardly attack from behind by the Hart Foundation. The Bolsheviks success as a tag team notwithstanding, Hart and Neidhart should have been disqualified immediately for that vulgar display. There simply isn't any room for that type of behavior in the world of wrestling.

In any event, the Hart Foundation got the undeserved victory, with the aid of an incompetent referee and the blind eye of President Jack Tunney. The Hart Foundation is a total disgrace.

  • @senorslopsalot WWE should hire you as a heel commentator! You're drawing heat, well played!

  • @jdshadle he's drawing heat because he's a brain-moron

  • @senorslopsalot You can't disqualify someone before the match has begun. The referee didn't ring the bell (signally the official start of the match) until AFTER the assault began.

  • @NickMichalak The greater point I'm driving at here is the lack of respect shown by the Hart Foundation. However, the referee does have control of the goings-on of all in-ring and ringside behavior prior to the match. An example would be the sending to the dressing room area of any non-participant at ringside that the referee deems a detriment to the sense of fair play that professional wrestling relentlessly upholds. Were I the officiant here I would have, without question, employed the

  • @NickMichalak discretion afforded me by the rules and regulations of the WWF and disqualified the Hart Foundation, if for nothing more than that disgusting and wholly unsportsmanlike display.

Listen to Ventura here. He is spot on.

  • Did Volkoff EVER get to finish singing the anthem? :-P

  • The end of the song requires the singer to flash the audience, so maybe it was for best.

  • is this the shortest wrestlemania match ever??? has to be close to when the legion of doom beat hercules and paul roma at wrestlemania vii..

  • God damn, Bret was cocky while pinning him. Guy has some charisma.

  • yeah, i always found bret in his younger hart foundation days was way more charismatic and funny. i still liked him solo and throughout, but his solo image was bland, too serious. he rules nonetheless

  • @Mutough bret has no charisma. ever. discusion ended

  • @aglewi41 You have mic skills and charisma mixed up.

  • @aglewi41

The fact that the mention of his name was the only one that got any reaction when a WWE show was being advertised over the PA in New York (WWE's historical biggest market by the way) tells me that you're wrong.

  • @EnforcerX71 i meant to say mic skills. which is true

  • @aglewi41 i meant to say mic skills.

  • I love it. Totally ruthless.

  • probably the best wrestlemania ever

  • not really, apart from warrior and hogan, the card sucked

  • Yeah, other than the main event the card was pretty lackluster.

  • Well, that was quick!

  • Took the words right outta my mouth.

  • You talk about a load of bullshit!!!! The WWE screwed the Candian fans!!!!!Fans pay BIG money to see their Canadian Hero Bret Hart and they forced the Hart Foundation and The Bolsheviks to have this 5 second of bullshit just so they can get those two 'Roid Headed Fucks-Hogan and Warrior more time with their piece of shit match!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Less than two years later, there was no more Soviet Union.

  • Funny Match but the Quickest Match in WWF History was when The Rock Beat Big Bossman in 4 sec at the Survivor Series 1998

  • так они совсем не русские акцент какой ужас

  • Nikolai has a great singing voice.Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart(The Original Hart Foundation)were awesome as a tag team and years later The New Hart Foundation was a great faction.RIP Owen,Brian and Davey Boy.Thanks for the memories.

  • i love this match it's a classic when will we ever see this kind of action where it was actually wrestling. what a classic i love it and ohhhhh do i ever miss it

  • does anyone know where or if i can find a website where they still use the wwf logos and original music for old wwf ppvs?

  • I have the same birthday as Jim Barrell/Boris Zhukov

  • this was a cool match i love it

  • I really hate that the Harts' record time here was erased by Kane pinning Chavo (a very talented wrestler) with one move in a title match. Utterly pointless senseless burial of Chavo, making the EcW title look crap. Whereas this was two heavily favoured guys (in Canada) who were over crushing two glorified jobbers who nobody gave two hoots about. That's why people still remember two minute segments like this 20 years later, but who will remember Kane and Chavo even wrestled at a WrestleMania?

  • There record still stands for a Tag Team match, Kane only set the singles match record.

  • if i were the hart foundation i would be pissed only have 2mins of arena time in canada at wrestlemania what a joke the main event was shit and its always hogan in the main event he is so shit wm 3 main event shit wm 2 main event shit wm 7 main event shit wm 8 main event shit wm 9 main event shit don't care what people think bret hart was the best at main eventing and at wrestling fact

  • Bolshevicks would have been great feud for Demolotion

  • The Bolshevicks did face Demolition, I have the match. It actually was about 18 minutes and was a good match.

  • i would love to see it

  • i would love to see that match.

  • this is really a disgrace for people booing and acting like this when a country's anthem is being played

  • not really...perhaps in a different context, but here it is volkoff getting cheap heat

  • "What kind of sportsmanship is that, Gorilla?"

  • What happened here.. I just blinked my eyes and the hart foundation are already the winners lol

  • talk about jobbing...the Bolsheviks did it ti perfection

  • this was like a 2 on 1 match!

  • I wonder if wrestlers liked nights like this...it's basically a night off for the Harts...come all that way to Toronto for WM and your match lasts 19 seconds... still fun to watch though

  • I wasn't even 5 years old when I saw this as a live PPV....good stuff, WM6 was one of the absolute best.

  • Not long after this match I saw The Bolshiviks here in New Zealand, Nikoli couldnt have been injured.

  • Im prety sure that Boris Zhukov wished he had stayed in the AWA instead of being in the WWF that night at the Skydome in Toronto.

  • Oh quit CRYING Jesse!

  • I thought Nikolai was injured at the time and couldn't wrestle? I could be wrong...

  • I think he was injured, but sometime after. He disapeared 3 months after him and boris seperated

  • how long was the actual match from bell to bell?

  • 19 seconds

  • their profile on obsessedwithwrestlingDOTcom says it was 17 seconds

  • their profile on obsessedwithwrestlingDOTcom says it was 17 seconds

  • The Hartattack!!!

  • That was quick. DAMN!!!!!!!!

  • this wrestlemania was in canada so usa chants didn't make sense there

  • I was there to see this live when i was 9 years old, little did I know that Bret Hitman Hart would later become my favorite wreslter ever!!

  • didnt the su collapse by 1990?

  • Comment removed

  • could have been a great match if they didnt have to rush it like this shit

  • 1.) The Harts were in line for the tag titles, and the Bolsheviks were about to be broken up.

2.) When Volkoff and Zhukov are involved, the shorter, the better.

  • 2. very true

plus they used to cram so many matches that were'nt all that short into ppv's back then so I guess at least one had to be this length (See WM7 LOD vs. P&G)

  • Vince had to put over the Hart Foundation big to set them up for a run at the tag belts

  • fucking usa .

  • those words: If they could sing I would but they can't. Then Jesse said: What does that have to do with anything? Those same words were said when Nikolai sang the anthem three years earlier in WM III!
