Personally, the machina works whenever I encounter enemy players at range, since I am a sniper this is a good chunk of what I do, I have also recently named my Machina "Dark lord obnoxious" and gave it the description "When you get hit by it, you will shit brix".

@SegaMario People were complaining about the weapons and items that came with it to be "not fitting for TF2 lore", since the weapons are futuristic, and TF2 takes place at around the 60s? (not sure since I forgot). That's just what most of the purely TF2 community does, complain. "Blah blah blah Tomislav is overpowered, blah blah blah FTP players ruined the game, blah blah blah those weapons don't fit in TF2." Most of have stop complaining about this though, since the Machina kicks ass.

@lutzdify An update is usually when they add new stuff to TF2 as well as try to fix some bugs or glitches. It came with the Machina (Sniper), Diamondback (Spy), Widowmaker & Short Circut (Engineer). It came with some hats too, but I really don't care for that sort of thing.

@LeeroyJenkinsstudio Too many variables and personal opinions in your statement. Any player that sucks with the Sniper will of course suck with any other rifle. The way a gun looks doesn't determine it's usefulness, it's the way it works, and so far the Machina works great in certain situations. If the way it looks is too unappealing, then that's why we have mods to give it either a recolor or a new model entirely.

Making the game f2p was the worst idea valve has come up with in a long time, many new players came in and filled up servers but not knowing how to play AT ALL (since this isnt call of duty) made the game unbalanced.

When Tomislav first came out its damage was too high for the short spinup time it had so obviously that had to be nerfed as heavies could 1v1 any other class at that point

That's a rather biased statement, sure there are a few videos about the ftp players that tried to shoot through walls, but calling all players that joined when it went ftp as CoD players is a bit prejudice. The game has been free since June, so those that joined then have gotten better since. And what's wrong with more players? Having more people around to play with doesn't seem like a bad idea to me.

@pentrel Not really.You can't noscope,you have to deal with the tracer rounds,and there's little point in using it if you're not going to take advantage of the boosts from 100% charge,and trust me when I say that roughly 70% of the snipers I've seen using the Machina don't charge anywhere near 100%.If anything,it's slightly more difficult to use then other rifles.

I still prefer the stock rifle though.
