I like her but the way she is making this cake is so generic. She is making it with no love kind of manufactured. Just pouring everything together at one time. Not putting the eggs in one at a time...etc. If you bake you know exactly what I mean.
I absolutely love Jamaica's presentation style so much that I wrote a TV food production company and told them to watch her straight forward style. I also wish it was all in only one or two videos.
It's funny that she looks like forcing herself to smile in front of the camera. Don't get me wrong, I love to watch her tutorial vid, it's just that she don't need to smile that makes her looks unnatural.
Made this for my son's 1st bday .. Followed the instructions precisely .. in exception of the decoration .. it turned out MOIST and YUMMY!!! thanks!!!
Why is the camera man moving so much!? I'm getting sick just watching this. And I agree with the other posters, who's idea was it to split the videos up like this? They could have at least added the different parts in the captions.
@tonjay2002 You're right! Tha'ts one of the reasons I don't like watching Expert Village Videos. They do that for ALL their videos. Sometime makes it hard to find the next one to a segment. Grrr
whose stupid idea was this to, split this video up into 4/5 different videos? also why does this woman give weights and measurement for some things and not others? i.e the baking powder which has to be very exact otherwise it will cause the cake to rise to quickly then sink!
is there any reason why there isn't a video that starts from begining to end? Why is everything done in steps? HOw to decorate? How to add the wet ingrediants? ????
She put about 1 tbs. red food coloring. As for the baking soda and salt, you can see on the other video: Red Velvet Cake Recipe: Ingredients For Red Velvet Cake to see the quantities of wet and dry ingredients. I'm sure it's 1 tsp. soda and a tsp. salt for this batch but you can check to make sure.
