@stayAU @stayAU Mr. Hingle gave a well-nuanced performance as the controlling Ace Stamper, creating in him a loathsome character whose parenting skills were beyond atrocious. Mr. Hingle's acting made us despise the abuse and willful neglect Ace heaped upon his family. The contrast in his two children, how one outwardly rebels and how the other does so in a plodding, quiet manner speaks volumes for what can happen when a parent such as Ace is corrupted through blind ambition and greed.
