Tad was THE heavy band of grunge, and as much as Soundgarden rocked Tad matched with more ferocity. Even Kim Thayil says that (check the Busted Circuits Ringing Ears documentary). Soundgarded wanted Tad to open for them on their world tour back in '94.

Fuck Cornell?!? If it wasn't for Chris Cornell, this song would not exist! He wrote Spoonman along with about 75% if not more of all other Soundgarden material. @maynx Valid point, BUT he is kind of a douchebag for quitting Audioslave and performing their songs AND soundgarden songs at his "solo" shows when he should just stick to ONE band and THE band that wrote the music he is singing. And its obvious the ONLY reason he reunited with the old members of SOUNDGARDEN was because his solo material is just terrible. Chris Cornell is ONLY good when he is working with talented people, then hes unstoppable.

This makes me feel as good as I did the first time I saw Cornell, McCready, Vedder, Cameron, Gossard, Ament on that beach singing Hunger Strike all those years ago. This is "Justice" and ultimate slap in the face from Morello and Tad isn't "old school Cornell" but he's the best "ANTI-Current Chris 'Scream' Cornell" they could find. Please no reunion of any kind just to cash in. This makes me happy still sad though the direction Cornell has taken the last 10 plus years. Mostly in his solo career

I saw Tad on tour with Soundgarden in the early- mid 90's. Looks like some friends jamming to me, I doubt anyone was figuring on replacing Chris with Tad.

A lot of people are pissed that Tad sang but they should be blaming Chris Cornell. He should have been here and not not sucking Timbaland's black cock. Tad Doyle is awesome but only for the band TAD. But that goes for most singers. Eddie Vedder couldn't sing for Alice In Chains and Layne Staley couldn't sing for Pearl Jam.
