I had the wonderful experience to see Steinberg conduct the Toronto Symphony back in the 1970's, (I think) doing Beethoven 6. His "Planets" are superb and he is one of the truly under rated great conductors of the 20th century. Oh, I must add, listen to the 1st mvmt of the 9th in this set, it has trombones added!! (not in score) great fun

@yenrabaraho I so agree with your assesment of Maestro Steinberg! His Beethoven and Brahms cyles for Command and his ALSO SPRACH ZARATHUSTRA for DGG and Bruckner 6th for RCA are also magnificent.
