My interpretation is that, I think it's all about wanting to feel the normal life again, he knows it, he sees it on TV but he doesn't know the feeling anymore because he never gets to go out on his own anymore, he always have bodyguards. And yes if someone wants to change, people should accept that. i love song that have some sort of message to them even though the message might not be something that involves me for example, they could still hold lessons or something.
