I remember the song when it came out.

Only problem is, I cannot remember the year.

I want to say late '80s possibly 1990.

I can't remember a lot of things though, but this song popped in my head out of nowhere today and thought to look it up.

I thought those guys had a great sound.

@Twinhit It was released early in 1989, the third single from the album also titled "Big Dreams in a Small Town". It got to #3 on the charts.
