Look into "Full Tilt" the company. It's basically the same thing except more flexy and heat molded.

not the tidiest foam fit i've ever seen, but if the dude with 'em on his feet is happy then I suppose that's ok.

Agreed, the best investment a semi-often skier can make is to buy their own boots and have them custom fit. You can always rent skis, but having your own boots helps a ton.
