  • I think the Fillipina have every right to live in HK and earn and live just as well as any hong konger

  • Shopping mall city. Yeah, I really hope that doesn't happen. It'd be a shame. What's the point of being independent if the only thing to see are shopping malls?

  • wry are they talking about being hong kong or chinese. its the same is it not ? hong kong belongs to china after 1997.

  • @illuminaz1 yes hong kong is china, but citizens in hong kong still feel a sense of separation, so many especially the younger generation often say they are "hong Kong people" in Cantonese and they don't consider themselves from China....

  • @ecyor7 well then the british got what they wanted. so sad. japan divided taiwan and the british hong kong

  • in 14:00 the place in Tin sha wai , which is the most pool and the highest population destiny in the world. even higher than south American maxiao

  • 長毛 is cool !

  • hey khoihq idioit. Hong Kong people think they are Superior or better than Mainland or something, but in fact they where the ones who got abuse and force to eat opium by the British, hong kong pepople are proud about that and they are worshiping British more than anything lmao. Mainland China people are getting more affluent as we speak. Shanghai GDP > Hong Kong so... Just wait till 2047 when the contract is over

  • @mvphalloffame buddy wtf u talking about

  • why whats gonna happen in 2047 ?

  • @mvphalloffame That is a very unfair comment. Hong Kong people worked very hard in the past few decades to perform its economic miracle and THATs why people are proud of it. We embrace and treasure our history and heritage which is undeniable, unlike many of the mainlanders who are politically brainwashed and have no proper values ( e.g. 4th june incident)

  • @rickiboyhk

Well isn't that an unfair comment in itself? Have no "proper" values? Come on.

  • poverty fhilipins

  • Is these eating person meat food?

  • I am from Hong Kong. I am of chinese heritage. But I am not just "chinese". I am of Hong Kong. Born. Bred.

  • 相思風雨中, the classic karaoke duet song :D

  • classic youtube clips of orientalism

  • 長毛!

  • my HK friends get mad when i jokingly call them chinese "no no, we are not those filthy poor mainland chink"...lmao

  • What? i don't get what your trying to say. They are chinese lol. Your HK friends must be dumb.

  • naw hk people dont like to be chinese or something. taiwan people too but my parents and grandparents are from hong kong taiwan and i like to be chinese

  • my mom from hong kong and im proud to be chinese

  • postcolonial thinking.. bad

  • No, Hong Kong has alwasys been a British city. Still is, just listen to Tony's accent.

  • How about no.

  • It use to be british colony no longer is since 1997. There are still some areas in HK which has an essence of britain, for example hong kong island victoria peak.

  • Hong Kong once again became a chinese city in 1997

  • yo u still blazin that shit up?

  • hong kong is awesome except for the damn smell. Wong-Kok is the worst smelling place in china.

  • Amanda Palmer is so cute!

  • She looks typical white girl. I dont know what you see in her. All white people look the same to me. most girls named Amanda are airheads.

  • ONLY 72 thats nothing. 1000 like King solomon. tell that to Muslim person i aint Muslim.

  • Dear gaajo99,

Ah, gaajo99,you must know the difference between a king and one who claimed to be the last messenger.

A king could have many wives or countless, but a prophet like Mohammad must have ONLY 1 WIFE IN ORDER TO BE HOLY. However, Mohammad had 30 wives and that explains why the Quran could not be called the Holy Quran like the Holy Bible can be called because Mohammad had no holiness.

    AMEN IN CHRIST JESUS

  • hehe.

nothing compared to our yeung yi .

  • i love hongkong

  • though i'm just have a small bed,i love HK very much^^

  • too overcrowded.. too polluted.. too cramped ..and too small..

but very unique I suppose.. even Beijing and Shanghai looks nothing like old Honkkies.. crowded crowded crowded.. and those gawdy 1001 neon signs on Kowloon.. they should be banned!

  • Same can be said about London

  • look around you what place is not polluted. Crowded? wth you might as well live in the suburb, you should go out at night time in Hong Kong the atmosphere is amazing and i am not complaining.

  • Proud to be a HK'ER

  • Shame on you, this young couple!!

  • yes, long hair is the rudest, also the bravest HK LegCo. He is one of the most famous Chinese who fights against Chinese Government's dictatorship. In the 2008 Hong Kong legislative election, he just gained people's support and remained in office. This is how I am proud of HK.

  • i live in hong kong and i must say this video makes it look a lot better than it really is =S NOT that hong kong is any bad, its just not as good. and since hong kong is such a bustling city most of the entertainment comes out at night, especially at central. at the bars, clubs ,etc.

  • Amanda Palmer is HOT

  • All man, good times over there, america is fun, but i love hong kong when better.

  • Ill be going to HK in July! Cant wait...

  • lol, i am as well :) july 7th

  • They talk about the Filipino workers because they have been part of our culture since the 70s. And they have been helping us out a great deal!

If it wasn't for them, A lot of people in Hong Kong would have to stay home and take care of kids, clean, cook and would no time to go out to work!!

They are just as important as everyone else to our society.

  • @humanequality I am Filipino my grandmother said we have chinese blood line in our family.... why is this because chinese people come to Philippines to have busenesses... and its true i knew some chinese-Filipino in Philippines they have busenesses there 'til now.... i knew by thier last name TAN, CUA, UY, Lim thats the famous chines last name I knew

  • @humanequality

That's one thing to said about HK. The fact that parents BARELY see their kids and and vice versa was...let's just say, culture shock to me. I mean, it was crazy how little interaction their was. I know so many HKers right now who tell me it is so weird that they actually get to see their parents when they go home, they're so not used to it. Some like it, others hate it.

Not making any judgments, just find it very interesting.

  • @humanequality it is amazing how you're a western-type society yet unlike most western countries you value you're ethnicities ^ ^

  • dude u're ignorant

  • yay hong kong ^^

  • i love hong kong

    hong kong rules!

  • Hong Kong has the lowest birth rate in the world?

  • yup.

  • No one has time to have kids in Hong Kong, people in HK work very hard. It's a luxury, Not many people have the privilege.

  • Would love to go back to Hong Kong!

  • we are the best, and i wanted to go back there.

i am thinking about invest in HK more than where i am living, canada.

  • ZIPPIES PAKOUR!

    YEAH

  • why?

what rights are they missing that democracy has?

  • Hong Kong is a lovely city and lovely view from victory peak. It would be shame to ruin the harbour there.

I hope democracy comes to Hong Kong.
