for about 2 months hand gun ammo was starting to come in, at least at walmart, since I hate paying outragous prices, but the bast 3 weeks it has all come to a hault, no 45, 9 or 380. there is plenty of 223 and 40 for some reason on a daily basis, since more and more police dept are switching to 9s.even the 223's at walmart are becoming too expensive. The whole stock up on guns and ammo idea is great if you have a job so you have the money to do so. Thanks to the economy I'm currently unemployed, so the whole buying thing got thrown out the window. All I have left is my hunting rifle now unfortunately but at this point its better than nothing.
I remember the days when I had numerous guns, but that was when you couldn't find ammunition anywhere so the guns were becoming paperweights anyways. Whats the use of a gun if you can't find ammo.

The real cause of the ammunition demand increase (and thus price increase) was right wing radio and TV creating a panic. People have to remain lucid and stop listening to the propaganda (both right and left). No one's going to try and take guns away.

When the toilet paper shortage happened, People began buying toilet paper in bulk, and much more then they used to buy at one time. This caused stores to run out quickly... Which led to people thinking omg the shortage is getting really bad! and buying even more, and bulking up even more.

To anyone who wants a gun but is on a budget, russian ww2 bolt action rifles called mosin nagants are ranging from 70 to 250 dollars depending on the condition, you can find them at basically any pawn shop, and their ammo, 7.62-54r is cheap and easy to find in bulk, i bought an m44 mosin nagant with an attached bayonett for 200 dollars, if you wannt a gun but are low on money, this is an unbeatable deal.

for about 2 months hand gun ammo was starting to come in, at least at walmart, since I hate paying outragous prices, but the bast 3 weeks it has all come to a hault, no 45, 9 or 380. there is plenty of 223 and 40 for some reason on a daily basis, since more and more police dept are switching to 9s.even the 223's at walmart are becoming too expensive. I hope this shortage and price hike ends soon. im tired of plinking the 22 every week. miss the kick of my 45, and just destroyng the target
