If bunnies didn't skip school they could read. I was at those shows and still went to school the next day so you shut your angry trap. I miss Atlanta especially for the scene. Missing Dropsonic dammit. I haven't seen GBH since the 80's but still love them so go psycho on yourself.
Yeah The Metroplex was where a lot of great bands played. Everyone from Bad Brains,GBH, D.R.I.,Samhain,Dead Kennedy's, to name a few. It was in a big spray painted warehouse located off of Spring Street downtown. 688 was the other cool place-wonder if it's still there?! Little Five Points and Masquerade are the only places I know that still cater to our music needs. Punk's Not Dead!!!!!
@VUNDRBLUD shut the fuck UP!!! this comment is two years old so, im sure you have, by now..i was at every one of those shows!! SNFU, Asexuals, Suicidal Tendencies, Black Flag...skipping school to see shows...sigh.I saw GBH at the Metroplex-asked Colin outside, "where yall playin next?" "Pensacola!" we fucking got in...my mom's? car-drove down there-no idea where-a policeman sent us to..the local bingo hall-no shit-and NO STAGE..but THOSE boys? no play nice after the show, but..yeah, anyway! HA!
ummm GREAT BAND !!! ive been listening to punk since it first came out everything from the crass to fucking ahhh rancid.... these guys and the misfits are my fav bands...and the exploited arent nazis... if you ever watched the movie ukdk they explain it...
Did you all know GBH come from Birmingham Uk the same city as Ozzy Osbourne and my good self lol. I used to talk to Col (singer) when he used to sell T-Shirts in the Oasis market.
i'm a long time punk fan, ang GBH is still one of my favorite bands. it's good to see this. incidentally, i saw them the night before at the cameo theater in miami beach. agnostic front was great also. oh the memories...thanks.
