Lovin' the blackfro on Jesse. Comes a time when ya gotta return to your "roots"... hehehee. Question: Think we'll ever see The Purple One wear a natural again? He'd better seriously consider it before that inevitable male pattern baldness sets in, (which is being hurried along by his use of the creamy crack). The creamy crack has wreaked havoc on his napz, coupled with age beginning to take its toll. His hair is thinning fast, and the excessive conks are doing him NO favors.

You can tell that Prince gave birth to this dude along with morris day..like i really wish that they would get together again and just funk until they cant breathe. They all used to be in a group years ago when they were in high school called Champagne...headed up by Prince then they all went their separate ways..but it's easy to see that Jesse is in Prince's "fam"..music fam that is...love this tho. What happened to Jesse?

@MTBFury Do the research MT. They all started out together before they split and Morris Day, along with Jimmy Jam split and became the time. They all grew up together in music and used to be in Champagne back in high school. Yes, Jesse has always had talent, but Prince was the one who put him in the business. Prince gave birth to many ppl. Research it but even if you dont agree it's ok. It was just a comment:| Nothing to argue over.

Andre Prince and Morris were in a band in high school, Jesse didn't move to Minneapolis until 1981 when he joined Morris and his band right before they became The Time.  Regardless, thats pretty irrelevant as to what I was trying to point out which is the fact that Jesse had his guitar chops before he even met Prince.

Yes Jesse cut his teeth professionally while in Prince's camp but he was already an accomplished guitarist before he came to Minneapolis. It's unfortunate however that Prince really didn't use Jesse on the Time's recordings until "Ice Cream Castles".

@Passion4Gotten: Jesse's been gigging with the original Time members (not to be confused with the band Morris has been touring with the last 15 yrs.) since their Grammy performance a few years ago.

He released "Verbal Penetration" his 1st new album about 15 years last October . Great return to form for Jesse. The album is definitely worth getting if you're a fan of his work.
