why does he never play the funk bit at the end of interworld and the new innocence when he plays live? in my opinion, thats one of the best parts.

The funk bit is generally done by a synth, not a guitar.

Even though his awesome skills would make him able to do it, and I admit that funk part is awesome, I wouldn't want him to do this any other way... its... just... beautiful..

cause buckethead is alos pro at his tones... he switches his shit up mid song, that's why you always see him changing it up on his guiit with his picking hand from time to time other pros do this too

Well with gigs like these Buckethead doesn't use a straight up 'distortion pedal'. robably an overdrive pedal like an Ibanez TS9 or TS808, however most of what you're hearing is just the amps natural overdrive skillfully manipulated. If you get your amp to a certain point, just a strong pick attack is the difference between clean and SUPER HOT!

i found out buckethead uses the Boss OS-2 pedal. Or it could be from his Line 6 FM4 pedal OR from his mesa boogie head/

Well thats an overdrive pedal for you.  Boosts the signal a lot, but doesn't actually GIVE it that 'distortion' tone. Just adds to your amp's drive. Keep in mind though, Buckethead uses msa Boogie amps I guess, but this is not a typical Mesa Boogie tone. Keep in mind that Rectifier type amps tend to have a very specific type of tone (just like a Marshall does or a Vox does), so if you are trying to match his tone, don't automatically think Mesa Boogie!
