What about weekly DEEP CONDITIONING treatment that is a part of most curly-girls routine? I just started using this product, but am wondering where does my weekly deep conditioning treatment fit in? A Deep Conditioner is not a part of the KC line. Or is Knot-Today a conditioner, leave-in and deep treatment all in one?

It will not work on straight relaxed hair. However, it will work if you have a texurizer. Go to the website there are other products that work for relaxed hair
clarify and you shouldnt have to deal with that anymore, the stickiness is from the product no sticking to you hair, most of the time this is from oils being on the hair, check your shampoo and conditioner for oil

For some hair types, this may be true, but trust me, my hair WILL NOT have the same curl definition or elongation with just conditioner and water as it does with KCCC. If my hair would just do that with condish and water, I could have saved a FORTUNE! lol

You can literally keep a style for a week before washing it out. It works on all hair that has a curl or wave pattern, such as african or biracial hair. It's not greasy, but is a little sticky before it dries. It's best to put it on wet hair (not damp) and let air dry.

Nah, it wouldn't curl your hair because your hair is permanently straight from the relaxer already. It's used to define curls that are already present.
Why don't you give it a shot and try something like this anyway? I'm currently natural, but when I had a relaxer, if i wet it and didn't blow dry it, i still had curls. experiment with your hair in it's wet state and see if you can coax out some curls. you can use inexpensive products until you know whether you can do it
This stuff is so great! I actually kept a style in for a week with my kccc, and washed my hair last night. It was incredibly soft and detangled, even after wearing it loose for a week!!! I love this stuff!!! Please put up a usage video soon.
i just added the spiral spritz to my regimen and it is the BEST stuff for 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc day hair without having to apply more Custard. Unless KCCC starts turning my hair green, I am a customer for life, baby!

Oh and I did not braid my hair, I took a shower and finger combed it in after washing it while it was still wet, and let the air dry it while I was out and about.

the amount of product depends on your hair type and the type of look you wish to achieve. The girl in the video (me) is actually dry. The Curling Custard can give you a wet look depending on how much you apply and if you apply it to soaking wet hair. Or you can get a fuller curlier look by using less product on damp hair and scrunching your hair with the Gloss Pomade after it is fully dry.
This is the BEST stuff to style your hair and get results JUST like you see here. I LOVE this styler. Hair won't frizz, style lasts for DAYS! I'm telling you... ;)
btw i have your typical 4a/b hair. very coarse and tightly coiled, especially on top. the back is a bit softer and the sides and front are tight but loose enough to curl up with gel. I have NEVER in my life had curl definition on the top part of my hair until I used this product. I have found that the KCCC works best with the KT. Awesome stuff here. Smells great too. Like fruity bubble gum or something. Leaves the hair soft, not crunchy.

I was wondering if this would work for my hair, I have a hard time with it when it dries it gets really frizzy and dry especial in the middle of my head. And I have like 3 different textures on my head, the back is loose spirals, the sides are tight spirals, and the front is just an s shape (wavy), would this product help it blend more!

It is not your standard gel that contains alcohol, silicones or plastics. It is more of a jelly. It is an all-natural moisturizing gel.

OH MY GOODNESS>.. I tried this product today. All I have to say is THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! It smells soo good, and my curls held all day without turning into a fro after my hair dried. And it is still shiney after a whole day in the sun! I got a flyer from someone on Melrose who ran to me and handed it to me, I was like is she tryna give me a hint! LOL!! So I looked it up and got it at Simply Wholesome... this stuff smells so good I want to eat it!

Oh and I did not braid my hair, I took a shower and finger combed it in after washing it while it was still wet, and let the air dry it while I was out and about.

I've just purchased this product and i LOVE IT..a little does go a long way!!..my question is how do i upkeep with the style everyday...should i spritz with water and reply...? the custurd?

You can do that, but you can also use the Spiral Spritz to smooth out any frizzy or puffy parts.

How much custard must sit in a person hair, in order for it to get curly like that. The girl in the video looks like her hair is wet and not natural.

the amount of product depends on your hair type and the type of look you wish to achieve. The girl in the video (me) is actually dry. The Curling Custard can give you a wet look depending on how much you apply and if you apply it to soaking wet hair. Or you can get a fuller curlier look by using less product on damp hair and scrunching your hair with the Gloss Pomade after it is fully dry.

btw i have your typical 4a/b hair. very coarse and tightly coiled, especially on top. the back is a bit softer and the sides and front are tight but loose enough to curl up with gel. I have NEVER in my life had curl definition on the top part of my hair until I used this product. I have found that the KCCC works best with the KT. Awesome stuff here. Smells great too. Like fruity bubble gum or something. Leaves the hair soft, not crunchy.

i must say I was a doubter. Then I tried the Knot Today/Kinky Curly Custard duo, and I was like WOWEEE!!! Who KNEW i had some curls???
I cannot say enough good things about this product (cept i wish it was cheaper). A little goes a long way, too. Made with natural organic products, how can you go wrong. You people need to hire me to be your spokesmodel. I can't stop raving about KT/KCCC. Thank you for inventing it! WOWEE!

I was wondering if this would work for my hair, I have a hard time with it when it dries it gets really frizzy and dry especial in the middle of my head. And I have like 3 different textures on my head, the back is loose spirals, the sides are tight spirals, and the front is just an s shape (wavy), would this product help it blend more!

Hey, I have the same hair type in the same places. LOL I noticed that when I moisturize after the conditioner by using a anti-frizz serium from Soft Sheen I have less frizziness.

The Curling Custard works best when it is applied to very wet/soaking wet hair that is clean of oils, butters, silicones and waxes.
If you have very thick and coarse hair the Knot Today will smooth the cuticle and prep the hair for the application of the Curling Custard.
Instructions on how to apply the product are on the website and also on the product label.

i bought the product and used it incorrectly. now im trying to convince my daughter to give another go because now i know what i did wrong thanks to my fellow natural nappies on youtube. she right it would be nice especially since this is youtube to have an instructional video on here. i bet it would help sell more product...hmmm...just an opinion...yes ur hair is marvelous!

The Knot Today seems to be the perfect base for the KCCC! They might work well alone, but I have always used them in combination.

Please message me about what you did wrong because i think i did something wrong too when i tried it. My hair wasn't looking like thato (lol). Then again, maybe my hair was too short back when i bought it. i still have a little left, but i haven't had the nerve to try it again. I'd bought the Knot Today, but that is all gone now. Do you necessarily need that?? Worked great on my daughter's hair though!
