how do you make the car move left and right, when i make a toy car it only goes forward

fantastic job on the wheels and suspension, the timing is spot on!

I'm working on cars on a highway now, but I'm not sure how many keys and how to time it, when it's high speed. Got any ideas? :)

If you want high speed animation than reactor is totally useless.

I would go for some keyframe animation + maxscripting (max script is easier than you might expect)

@micemincer Thanks! I'm not sure what you mean about maxscripting. I'm used to animating in Maya, but haven't done scripting. I guess my concern is to find the right formula, number of keys and amount of rotation to give the high speed look I need.

It depends on the torque bias, but in most cases there isn't oversteer in awd vehicles from normal turning. That's the most capable little CR-V looking thing I've ever seen, haha. Good work.

that's because the reactor toy car is named "toy car" for a reason , don't you think? because it's not as perfect as if you rigged a car , it will be perfect for a collision or a duinamic moves , but not controlling it like that , that's will you need to animate then stop then raise the speed the stop then make it go faaster the stop the make it go slow , that's will make the car chake or it will look like an dump rigging if you do that with reactor ,

last ward on this , if this was made using reactor then the man who did this was killed by the keyframes , so some time the car go fast and some times turn ... etc , this is all will not be done at once for sure thing , but how you can know , you only coming to follow people on there words so you have somthing to say ,

Iknow reactor and i know what it's capaple to do , and that's not , from what i see it's like some one controll the car like a made car plug in or some high rig , because the car is go fast then slow down then go fast again the jump the stop all at once , you will take ages to do that in reactor and will not come up with that Q , there is only two ways to do this ,

1- mad car

2-craft director tools

With 3ds max you can literally recreate an entire working car rig. Yes it looks better than most of the reactor car setups on youtube, but it looks like this is for a college assignment and i assume they spent alot of time exacting the suspension
