This is the first computer I ever had, my dad brought it from his work loaded with games for me to play, I was 5 by then (born 1989). I would spend hours playing and trying commands, and I had this orange cap I always wore using it. I was so proud of myself when I figured out how to use CD and dir/w all by myself.
I tried booting it a year ago, but smoke came from the power suply, so it's broken now :(
I'm still on the lookout for a suitable drive and controller card if needed for new drive, so maybe it won't be a total loss. I am glad I got my old Compaq portable I Plus(Gold) edition to 100% though. :)
I just rescued one of these today from being chucked out and it works fine! I don't have a boot up disk though. Any idea where I could get one online? I'll pay you for a copy of yours?! Cool video mate
I just got my hands on one of these. Not sure how well it runs yet.

Mine is working fine, played chicago 90 and RR tycoon on it... using a com-port mouse.. was my first computer back in the days.

Looks like the HD wants to work. Have you tried using the setup disk to surface scan the HD and set aside bad tracks/sectors?
