  • I watched this before, and it's still funny!

  • I think hes trying to be clever but is INCREDIBLY FAILING

  • haha great video

  • LOL.

  • This is a brilliant video. This man is a genueuieuseses.

  • The problem I have with this guy isn't his below average IQ. Its the notion he presents that anarcho-capitalists do their deeds on the internet. WTF reality do you live in LOL, theirs a libertarian party and alot of us are involved in federal election campaigns, buying local movements, employing people ect. wake up man, nobody in my life could ever refute the free market society to a "better" alternative. You've all been indoctrinated from birth like religous people....FREEDOM!

  • @TreeSmoke1999 Um, you might want to look a little more closely at the title to this video, and perhaps listen to a bit more than you obviously did.

  • wtf arent you too old to be trolling?

  • Capitalism doesn't work for humans.

  • TROLL TROLL IS OBVIOIUS!

  • lmao xD

  • I was drinking coffee while listening to this and I laughed so hard I spilled it no my lap. It burned, but I was still laughing.

  • Not sure if troll or just stupid...

  • if this is a joke its really funny

  • Spiders could create currency and consumer goods out of silk creating a marketplace for consumer goods and a capitalistic society could emerge.

  • Is this a response to the "Violets on Television" video? ; )

  • I'm extremely confused. This has to be a joke, but he keeps a *perfectly* straight face. I never want to play poker with this guy. (Or am I giving him too much credit?)

  • Arachno. LOL. Are you sure it wasn't Anarcho?

  • I don't understand... Arachno-Capitalism? Is this video from Monty Python?

  • So funny.

  • @s0beit

A money spider is a tiny breed of spider.

  • @Guncriminal Interesting, not in my country. I prefer money made of spiders, i will harness the economic and destructive power of the spider dollars. They will be named webmarcs

  • Hey!

Didn't Dale Everett (The Anarchyinyourhead guy) make a comic about "Arachno-Capitalism"? :P

  • My gosh this is an amazing video hahaha

  • Maybe you have to get a grasp on what capital is first. Hint 1: it is not those fancy papers with numbers the came out of the FED’s money printer, representing capital that’s not even possible for future generations to produce. Hint 2: web making spiders do have capital. As bees do, as ants do. Now what could I possibly mention?

  • @shadowgeyser Oh I just argued with someone who had those similar thoughts and was serious, sorry sarcasm doesn't translate the best over the internet.

  • You have offended my political sensibilities.

  • Nice.

  • lmao!!

  • you, sir, are hilarious

  • Thanks, this was a nice way to start my day!

  • Arachno capitalism? Is that something do with money spiders?

  • Comment removed

  • Outrageous! Those spiders have a common interest in becoming capitalist. Via specialization and trade they could increase the median GDP of spiders worldwide. This would lead to growth in the fledgling spider goods market, thus providing jobs for unemployed spiders and promoting production of goods and services that spiders need. Like tiny gas masks to wear when humans spray for bugs! To disregard spiders' unalienable right to property is to do a disservice to spiderkind everywhere.

  • From each web according to his ability...

  • How can you miss the obvious point that spider don't need to pay for web because they just pull it out of their ass when they need it.

  • yes, spider capitalism is retarded.

    But what about Anarcho-Capitalism?

    Or anarchism?

  • LOL!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it's the stupid people who need socialism, because they are the ones who lack the knowledge to get educated, get a job, invest and raise themselves up over their lifetime. they need government to steal form other people who demonstrate superior character. in the story "the grasshopper and the ants", they are like the stupid, lazy grasshopper who has to rely on the smart, thrifty ants.

  • @ellwyn overly reductive

  • 15 dislikes by the 15 stupid people that happened upon this one lol

  • haaaaahahaha.

    that just made my night.

  • Some of the funniest shit I've ever seen on the web.

  • @breakingthe4thwall lol... web

  • Hilarious! Thanks!

  • Yeah, ok. I get it now.

  • Hahaha! I salute you Sir, that was absolutely brilliant.

  • Yeah...You are right...

  • AAAAAAhahahaha!!! Cool.

  • lol

this was just featured on the mises institute blog the other day

  • Thanks for the info. I was curious how I was getting more views recently.

  • I think it's stupid to suggest spiders start off with capitalism, barter is a more natural starting point. They could use their spare time to make surplus webs, for drone bees to use as hammocks. In return, they could get honey to make their webs more sticky.

That said, if and when spiders *do* develop currency, I think that ants would be good bankers.

  • wow, this is ridiculously funny, but the video response is the dumbest shit I've ever seen

  • About 5 seconds in, I turned to my husband (who graciously left this up for me) with the most confused, befuddled, and shocked face I have ever had -- second only to the "O-face".

  • funniest video i've seen in a bit

  • Actually spiders do spin pockets and purses out of silk and store bug money in them. They even exchange said bug money for sex with other spiders. Bugs are their commodity money. So this guy is just clueless about anarchnids and their biology.

  • EPIC !

  • Amazing. Subscribed. Somehow, you made this whole clip believable.

  • This guy made me piss my pants for the first time since I was a boobsucker. Either he's the greatest comedy genius of all times or the sorriest dumbass I have ever heard speaking :)))

  • hahahahaha

  • You rock.

    Subscribed.

  • man this video honestly left me confused... was he being serious? hahahahahahaha

  • Don't ruin this!

  • but i want pockets! (i know its a haha /nods)

  • how did he say this without laughing

  • The idea of free market capitalism is another one of those insipid notions coming from the thousands and thousands of thoughts that make it on to YouTube. I mean, if everyone can just go get food and groceries for free from the market, then there'll be a tragedy of the commons and long, long lines. I guess I can understand the thought process that everyone needs to be fed, but we just can't have free markets; people would literally starve waiting. Jeez. People come up with some stupid ideas.

  • This was even funnier than the video.

  • @Bluedybluedyblue haha I love it!

  • @Bluedybluedyblue ...free market doesn't mean everything's free of charge. Boy are you an idiot.

  • @Bluedybluedyblue tragedy of the commons, is a cynical anti-historical outlook on humanity that essentially states that native american's are the reason oil spills happen

  • /facepalm. Brilliantly stupid.

  • Either brilliant humor, or the king of the stupid thoughts on Youtube.

  • dude you are freaking HILARIOUS!

Also, try searching for ANARCHOCAPITALISM, it's almost as cool as arachnocapitalism ;)

  • lol!! excellent

  • WOW, this is f*cking cool!

  • Thanks for sharing & allowing comments too!

    I am afraid of spiders.

  • lol just another stupid drone who doesn't see why it's much better if spiders can be free to spin their web without such restrictions as minimum web thickness. Can't you see they're just farming spiders?

  • Intervention within the market, is, to be sure, a problem for spiders. Studies show that the regulating of web thickness actually led to a loss in quality and thus a loss in bug-revenue. Of course, such regulations have led to barriers to entry for younger spiders, who are forced to weave weaker webs than the spider unions are allowed to weave. All in all, this drives up prices of bugs and spider food-stuffs. The latest regulation on the docket is for nationalizing trap-door spider land.

  • Gahahaha! :)

  • what the FUCK

  • That they´re allowed to keep the webs they created?

  • But who will stand up for the spiders???

  • fear the arachno-capitalists! Thanks for pointing out that stupid videos come from stupid thoughts!

  • That was fucking hilarious, man. I was pissing myself laughing. Thanks a bunch.

  • hilariously crafted

  • Brilliantly done sir!

  • This is awesome.

  • You clearly don't understand arachno-capitalism. In this system, you would use spiders AS the currency.

It works on many levels: There are lots of spiders, and getting spiders to mate isn't hard (some candlelight, Barry White's version of Itsy Bitsy Spider and it's a done deal), so everyone would be rich. Many spiders are poisonous, and a percentage of people are incredibly allergic, so it would also lend itself to population control. Win-Win

  • Silly goose!

  • It would have been funnier if you went on for like ten minutes and sounded really informed and ariculate on spiders and why this system of economics is just unfeasible.

  • imo, quite a few holes in the "theory"...

  • yes, in deed

  • lol

  • Finally some relief from the endless sea of stupid videos on You-Tube ;) "and if they did they'd be teenie tiny pockets", That's awesome!!!

  • It is my understanding that anarcho-capitalists recognize that positions of extreme power are hijacked by the selfishness of human nature. So it's a system that works around that. The arguments are based on human nature, and they're always brought to their conclusions. I'm not sure what you're referring to.

  • Brother the world hates us. Since Bush has taken office the dollar has lost half its value against the Euro and hit a 27 year low against the pound. We have way too many real problems to fuck around with hypotheticals. You might just as well rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic as it goes down.

  • He wasn't referring to anything. His comment was an ad hominem attack and nothing more.

Also, there's the problem of generalization. It's easy to notice when you make a slight alteration to his comment:

"I myself find [black people] irritatingly non-thinking. They don't seem to take their arguments to logical conclusions and ignore human nature. I get so frustrated when trying to discuss this with them."

Obviously he's not capable of logical debate. That is why he gets frustrated.

  • Sorry KevinBernal, but you've got a bad case of ignorance:

Praxeology is the study of those aspects of human action that can be grasped a priori; in other words, it is concerned with the conceptual analysis and logical implications of preference, choice, means-end schemes, and so forth.

  • In the late nineteenth century, the praxeological approach to economics and social science was rediscovered by Carl Menger, founder of the Austrian School. The term praxeology was first applied to this approach by the later Austrian economist Ludwig von Mises (portrait at left). Along with his students (including Friedrich Hayek and Murray Rothbard), Mises employed praxeological principles to show that much existing economic and social theory was conceptually incoherent

  • That was a quote (so don't go looking for the "portrait at left").

  • "Anarcho-capitalist Murray Rothbard defined free-market capitalism as "peaceful voluntary exchange," in contrast to "state capitalism" which he defined as a collusive partnership between business and government that uses coercion to subvert the free market.

  • "Capitalism," as anarcho-capitalists employ the term, is not to be confused with state monopoly capitalism, crony capitalism, corporatism, or contemporary mixed economies, wherein natural market incentives and disincentives are skewed by state intervention."

  • Read some Rothbard (if you're wondering what the logical conclusions of anarcho-capitalism are). The "conclusions" are expressed in terms of ethics, economics, and political philosophy.

Start with "The Ethics of Liberty"

You can listen to the audio version for free on mises dot org (in the media section of the site).

  • They can make pockets! ... or maybe silk purses.

  • I hadn't thought of that. Hm, I wonder what else I didn't think of.

  • ya! try to be open-minded

  • Someone should do a study to see what percentage of stupid people are on YT. I bet it is a lot.

  • I wish spiders ate lunatics.... might even be enough to make me believe in intelligent design.

  • I am subscribed to a couple of people who like to debate this. If you smoke pot you have 120,000 thoughts a day but you don't remember them unless you write them down.

  • Wow. This was excellent. (How did you film this straight faced?)

  • no kidding. this made my day. awesome sir.
