haha if you look at the Martin Catalogs and 1833 shop stuff you will see Chris pictured in a lot of it. He's their cheap male model for shirts and hats... and works in the artist relations dept at Martin
I know that decent nylon-strung guitars can have prices in the thousands, and that the Martin label attracts a premium on the price tag, so $2000+ for one of this family of instruments doesn't make me flinch. Interesting that it has the feel of a steel-strung guitar, as I prefer my nylon- and steel-strung guitars to have their own character because I choose to use them for different types of music that require different styles and techniques. I'll look to play one later in 2012.
