When she was younger she was awesome, and she sound pretty nice here, her background singers need to control themselves, they are oversinging her. AND THEY DONT SOUND GOOD

@machai400 Singers don't control how loud the mics are turned up, and it is pretty much impossible to be able to tell how loud you are OR NOT when you are on stage...the sound guy handles that!...Sometimes singers don't even get a good sound check...give them a break...

@machai400 oh I saw them in 1971 and those original girls did used to sing as loud as her and they sounded good,they had a blend that was so damn amazing,too bad they didnt make it bigger than they did,I have seen all the acts in there hey day and they were one of the best live,but they just didnt make it real big!

The Honey Cone is my all time favorite group (hence my screen name). Edna Wright sounds great and is looking good. Now if only we could get her together with Shellie Clarke and Carolyn Willis for a REAL Honey Cone reunion.

The Honey Cone was my third favorite group outside of the Supremes and the Emotions. I LOVED me some Honey Cone and still listen to their gems of the 70s, my high school years. Edna looks fantastic and sounds great!! I've seen her over the years here and there singing back up for Darlene Love, her sister. Both sisters have some fantastic voices.

Ever since the gospel duo Mary Mary sampled this song for their tune "Heaven" and included Edna (who i believe is related to one of the girl's husband) in the video, I've been hoping it would bring about a Honeycone reunion. Edna sounds and looks AMAZING! Just to think I was looking for another tune and stumbled onto this gem of a performance. Please come to NYC Ms. Edna...checking out classic Soul Train performances is great, but seeing the real thing would be even better!! Thanks for posting!
