Azaris were part of 12 province together building the Region of PAHLOW in which Pahlavi (Mid Persian language) was official language. I don't know what's all the talk about Kurds under a Lori song. Lori is a dialect of Persian but Kurdish although close to Persian can be considered a language although the Kurds have greatly contributed to the Persian language. Every country has to have an official language and therefore written but can have other spoken languages that are less written. I understand Lori but can only recognize words and the theme of Kurdish speech.

The fact is, Kurds did defend their heritage as part of a greater family of Iranian. Hormozgaan script found close to Soleymanieh is just one of many script but it is simply in pure PAHLAVI which was the general language of Persia.

Writing is not important as speaking we speak in Kurdish, we have more than 7 dialect. Each dialect has several accent and has variety of music, dancing, clothe, food custom, geography, and the way of living, but for sure all proud to be Kurdish all say we the origin of Kurdish. we have ever rich culture we will modernize all not choosing one.

Gundi, just read a bit of history. AthurPategan was the homeland of the Jewel of Zoroastrian FireTemple, the Kings Special FireTemple of "AzarGoshasp". Azaris were part of 12 province together building the Region of PAHLOW in which Pahlavi (Mid Persian language) was official language. Azari was simply another dialect of Pahlavi and you can read these facts in "Nasser Khosrou's Safarnameh". It is true some turks moved there but just to extend force some language mixture.

"kurd" is a greek name (kuordos)means "fighter" lived in the mountains area, before that we were Loloy, Mitany, Gotti.Luri ...all was "Midian".
