  • THE TITLE SHOULD BE:" BEST K1 KO'S"

  • Just like Muay Thai, MMA's been around for centuries. Muay Thai = Muay Boran, MMA = Pankration...ain't nothing new, it's just a watered down version for the safety of the participants. The original forms were meant for Warfare, not one on one sport.

  • this isn't muay thai, its kickboxing, what a disgrace to compare an ancient form of thai martial art with kickboxing

  • @cheatdathz I believe that kneeing is not allowed in kickboxing but is allowed in muay thai. Therefore this is muay thai

  • @gunschulke this isn't muay thai, u can't do more than three combos in a clinch in K1, i am from Thailand and it is my national sport and pride, do not insult it by saying that this is muay thai, it might not be kickboxing, but this is definitely not muay thai

  • @cheatdathz i wouldnt say disrespectful, but more like ignorant. and to solve the dispute could it be a combination of muay thai and western kickboxing?

  • @cheatdathz Well you got me on that one. I don't even remember commenting on this.

  • buen video ..3:03 uffffff que dolor

  • esta arte marcial es una de las mejores

  • MMA is mixed martial arts Bruce Lee=Jeet Kune Do = MMA ...hate mma you hate bruce lee and if you know mma is Mixed Martial Arts so if you hate mma you hate all the martial arts like muay thai tkd judo jiu jitsu krav maga and etc

  • @aristos1231 bruce lee was also trained well in wing chun

  • @aristos1231 not to be mean bruce lee created jet kun do which is the style he uses its not mma just sayin correct me if im wrong

  • @Itagaki32 MMA is mixed martial arts Jeet Kune Do is taking the good and removing the bad its still MMA if you take the good and remove the bad from all martial arts like bruce lee

  • @aristos1231 i hope you're not serious. MMA is still a SPORT, it has rules and it's not a street fight. the rules of the sport weakens the fight, due to the fact that people could get hurt. there is a big difference between a MMA fighter, training to fight in the ring, and a Martial Artist who train because it's his life.

  • @blodstainer I didnt say MMA isnt a Sport and i didnt mention rules either

  • @aristos1231 "MMA is mixed martial arts Bruce Lee=Jeet Kune Do = MMA ...hate mma you hate bruce lee"

Bruce once said that rules ruins the foundation of fighting, and that martial art is an art, and should not be competed for points or wins. And the whole idea of MMA was against his way of teaching, he didn't like that it existed different types of schools nor did he approve of rules within fighting. bruce was more anti mma than for it. don't compare Jeet Kune Do with MMA... don't...

  • @blodstainer Jeet Kune Do is about taking the good thing and removing the bad MMA does not stand as a sport on its own its stands because of the other Martial arts but you are right about the foundation of fighting.

  • @aristos1231 Jeet Kune Do, also have a philosophic point to the fight. That's something a boxer or kick boxer don't. The train and fight because they either like, fighting, training, or the things it gives them. They rarely train for themselves or because of themselves

  • @blodstainer Respect to Jeet Kune Do and Bruce Lee for creating it!

  • @aristos1231 That makes no sense, some ppl just don't like the result of some mixed arts.

  • @aristos1231 Though mma is similar to Jeet kune do, in the sense that it took multiple teachings from well known established martial arts,it wasnt exactly mma since it was a single form of martial arts.In mma there are some unnecessary movements, where in jeet kune do Bruce made sure that there where non,it took all the arts Bruce knew, got rid of all the useless movements, and focused on only the strongest, most organized and most accurate movements. To bad he died before true masters where taught.

  • mmm I think MMA is evolving into a new "marcial art" by itself... I mean , mma fighters are worried just in learn a little bit of everything ... a little bit of grap, hand, legs... but they are not necessarilly learing this from an traditional marcial arts gym ... they have their own mma gyms... and they have their own rules .. so... If you look it from that way you can say that yes.. mma its a new sport or "marcial art" nothing to do with the other traditional marcial arts

  • @aristos1231 You know, in all the other material arts its most about control over yourself. MMA is mixed of all these sports, yes. But you dont see in Tkd that they punching someone that already is knocked out. Which MMA does. The rules is just not right.

    Excuse my english.

  • @TheLisetteMusic

You know nothing of MMA. Go learn about the subject before you talk bad of it.

  • @SkemeKOS Its enough to watch it. Its just not fair to punch someone that lays on the ground, just cowardly.

    Sorry my bad english ""

  • @TheLisetteMusic

When was a fight supposed to be fair??? Thats why its call a FIGHT!

I'll say it again, you have NO IDEA about martial arts or fighting so dont bother talking about it.

    Sorry my friend.

  • @aristos1231 fuking logic =))

  • @aristos1231 jeet kune do is not a martial art.

  • @Fabiomarrabio you must be kidding?

  • @aristos1231 Bruce lee said that,not me.

Read his book,i don't know how to explain it.

  • @aristos1231 JKD IS NOT a martial art. JKD is a concept, an idee. End of story.

  • @moussleouf INCORRECT.

    Sorry, YOU LOSE.

Jeet Kune Do IS in fact technically considered a Martial Art's style.

Developed by Bruce Lee, and actually an upgraded version of Wing Chun, it's actual name is "Intercepting Fist". Originally created in order to get in, get out, and then follow up with another assault.

You saying JKD is not a Martial Arts style is the equivalent to saying Protestant Christians are not actually Christians.

  • @BlackenedThorn Bruce said it himself. It's not a style but a concept of fighting. "Having no way as way. Having no limitation as limitation." Styles are limited to their principles. Each practitioner uses a set "way". JKD is not about doing what Bruce himself did. The same moves, his look, his screams, the way he stands in front of an opponent. No! It's about developing body and mind to overcome your opponent with the simplest, most straight forward, yet effective means necessary. That's all.

  • @xcalic3600 I suppose. What you said is completely correct as spoken by Bruce.

However, many still consider it a Mixed Martial Art.

Even professionals such as my instructor whom I am learning it from.

    But bygones will be bygones.

  • @BlackenedThorn

Mixed martial art and "concept"/a way of fighting are the same thing.

The problem is "mixed martial arts" being viewed by many as a style or martial art of its own...which it kind of is now LOL

Its all very confusing and I realise why Bruce said we shouldnt fuss with the names and stuff.

  • @xcalic3600 I have to agree, I've always lived by and trained by this concept. Bruce Lee took his natural forms and made them stronger. He didn't try to re-write or follow a set path. He took what he felt would be useful and perfected it.

This is why I don't understand how they have JKD gyms... it's like going against everything he said. At least the way I took it, JKD is our own form that we ourselves must create, learn and perfect.

  • @MadnessJuan I'm not a martial artist. I just a giant fan nerd of it and I'm a great fan Bruce Lee and his philosophy especially. However, I agree with you. JKD was even expelled by Lee eventually. JKD was actually a style that was meant to intercept an opponent's attack with a faster, more powerful counter strike done in the simplest manner (no triple back flips or preying mantis mimicking just to punch a guy in the chin). You give the opponent the lead and punish/exploit his weaknesses.......

  • @MadnessJuan However, Bruce Lee after incredibly recovering from a usually crippling back injury revoked this principle claiming that it still had limitations. He said a true martial artist must train his body to overcome (all) situations with fitness and moves derived from intuition. Hence, being unpredictable, fast and comfortable with oneself during combat. However, you must polish your technique and scrub out uselessness (e.g. a weird animal stance - you don't have to crane stance to punch).

  • @BlackenedThorn

Technically its a martial art, yes. But its not a set in stone martial art. Its a concept - a way of fighting. It encourages the individual to find his own style and techniques that work for him by borrowing from OTHER STYLES. For this fact, you should be able to tell that JKD can be considered NOT to be a certain STYLE of martial art.

So the guy wasnt wrong and you wasnt wrong. Youre both right IMO.

  • people think muay thai came out first, but you're wrong.

ancient Japanese way before made karate.

and thai merchants copied karate and made muat thai.

  • @Iwase7694 Google "wiki ムエタイ" in your country, boy.

    別名:Thai boxing , 発生国:タイ ,派生種目:キックボクシング

  • @Iwase7694 I don't know where you heard that but its not true. Karate started in the 19th century. Muay thai was being practiced before the 18th century. You could argue muay thai is influenced by other southeast asian martial arts, but not Karate. Muay thai and karate are not even similar.

  • 1:26 holy shitttt it's sur he's fucking down after this :O

  • 3:01 Holy Shit! im learning Muay thai!

  • its not mma noob iys kick boxing asshole

  • 17 people practice Tae kwon do.

  • @WudangTeohari Don't comment on youtube again. thx

  • 0:21 when did Nelson Mandela learn Muay Thai?

  • 0:34 you can tell by the look on the green haired guys face that hes seeing stars lol

  • Karate is original.

Muaythai is a copy of Karate

  • @Iwase7694 Copy what ? just stop spread a shit

if you got a blank head

  • @Iwase7694 karate and muay thai have nothing to do with each other... they are totally different martial arts form different countries... but i personally like karate better

  • @Iwase7694 karate was born on 1922... Muay thai was born 1238.... Karate is from japan... Muaythai is from thailand....

Make your point on who copy who and en the other hand... Muay thai its completly different from karate in many ways... And Karate is completly different from Muay thai in many ways... Please do some research before you post any comment on any sport video.. and for christ sake... I hope no true sensei or krhu find yu talking like this....

  • @Iwase7694 noo.. muay thai came before karate

  • I have a question that i want everyone to feel free to answer. Me and my friends want to learn muay thai and also Jeet Kune Do, are those good when used hand in hand with eachother? or should we just learn one or the other?

  • @krazychrane024 They are both great, use jeet kune do if you want to learn self defence. Use Muay thai if you really want to fuck someone up.

  • This is K1 there is a lot of styles. Again wrong name of video.

  • Name of music?

  • @marquinfts cloud connected artist in flames :)

  • @deathangel273 Thank you !

  • this is K1 and not muay thai... just in case... k1= no clinching and no elbows

  • muay thay is kick and punch the oponent as hard as you can before he do...all you learn if you practice it is how to make a good hits still you gotta hit like hell !

  • nothing nice about a shin in the face. Muay Thai is just plain awesome.

  • love that

  • 0:27 who is buakaw fighting there ?

  • Every blow are like a cannon!!!

  • Esto si son peleaas no como la WWE!!!

  • these guys are genetically superior

  • way better than MMA ............

  • K-1 and kickboxing isn't Muay Thai the rules are totally different especially no elbows and very limited techniques in the clinch a Muay Thai background just translates well to kickboxing. There is a reason a Thai that weighs can ragdoll a western fighter who has 20kg on him.

  • which's the song name ?

  • @AlekzanderPvnk In Flames - Cloud Connected

  • @Vonbrigde muy amable mister!.

  • 3:10 dangerous!

  • hate the music but the footage is outstanding.

  • Muay Thai is the shit seriously, i've been practicing it for 4 years now and i'm aint going to stop. Tip : never use it at school you can easily kill your opponent :P

  • only muai thai is the best

    not K 1

    K 1 is stupid

  • @jirapanwar they are almost the same, only the rules of k1 doesn't allow you full elbow strikes...etc.

  • song's name please, i want to practique muay thai! jaja

  • Guys:

I have the chance to start Muay Thai, should I take it ? is it good for a street-scenario or is it more sport - oriented ?

  • @locolopelocolope Both, I take it and the marines take it. It is ggod inside and outside the ring. It is the only Martial Art that is stand up that uses all 8 legs. Fists, Elbows, Knees, legs. And it uses all your body when U strike making it more dangerous. this is why 99% of MMA fighters use Muay Thai. Thay do not use any other stand up fight. accept boxing. There is no point to use TKD, Kung Fu or Karate. in MMA.

  • @MrStathis77

    Thank you very much !

  • @locolopelocolope im practising muay thai mate, its one of the best stand up martial arts , most probably the best, u use everything, legs fists, elbows knees, you can easily defend urself in the street :)
