I went to the Alamo back in 07 and it was a moving trip. When I went I found it funny the guards there were Mexican. Were they when u went?

Are you surprised? There were Mexicans (or Tejanos, as Mexicans from Texas were called) on both sides during the Texas Revolution.

Not suprised just amused and I did know that there were Tejanos in the Texan army. I just found it funny that after nearly two hundred years the Mexicans were "still guarding" the Alamo. See the humor in it now?
Actually, I've never said it is NOT funny. I just said it is not surprising ;)
ok my mistake.
