I actually think the C's epitomize Boston more than the Red Sox, what with the heavy Irish influence in Boston and whatnot, and the Celtics obviously being Irish influenced. I like the Pats best because football owns all. Football is the best sport to watch and just the whole atmosphere surrounding football...basketball and baseball just can't compare. Super bowl > *

And 2008 also clearly shows the impact of having your starting center out (Bynum).
