Build a Perch for your Parrot

i fell in love with this stand i made 2 i made the one he has here and one thts 1 foot tall i use the one thts a foot tall more bcuz my conure like to be on my bed its pretty cool thanks

I was just wondering how you trained your bird to do that flip? I would like to teach it to my budgie!



@ferrari458italiaRAD using target and click training to do it slowly train your bird to follow a chopstick basically through conditioning. then make the bird slowly folllow the chopstick all the way around the perch maybe at 45 then 90 and while doing that give it many treats and then move on to a full circle all the way around should only take a few training sessions if ur bird is tame and conditioned.

just curious, but wouldn't the paint be toxic? i have a sun conure and i'm wanting to make him a perch like this :)

@kygal41501 The paint is plastic based so it wouldn't be good if your bird ate a lot of it. I don't recommend painting a perch if your bird will be be left on it alone.

I made this perch for trick training and showing him off at schools so he's always supervised while on the perch

could you use a tree branch as the perch instead? supplying that the perch fits the connecter properly
