The girl died, not telling him anything, she didnt say goodbye. He is going around trying to find her, and find out what happened to her, not knowing she's dead. The neighbors wont tell him what happened. She was mixed up, she'd been hurt so many times, that she doesnt believe in love anymore. But he loves her.
