@radmaxxxx there is a huge differenece between a 540 and a 370. but between 370 and 380 the size isnt too bad. Could manage to make it fit with some cutting.

@TheFlippo123 Putting in a bl system? It will be my truck, I can do what I want with it. Part of having rc is repairing you truck. What gears are you talking about? If I shim the diff correctly and set the gear mesh properly, the gears should be fine. It is the dog bones and the cups around them that I am worried about. But, I can probably get upgrades for the rc18. Some of the exceed metal parts for their 1/16 cars might even fit.

@radmaxxxx Not the 1/10 vxl the 1/16 vxl out of my merv. It is 380 the stock is 370. Not a HUGE difference. With a little creative dremeling it should fit fine. But you did just remind me I have a spare 1/10 vxl motor as well. But my only remaining 1/10th car is my blitz with a castle beast of a system, def not putting in traxxas stuff in my hpi blitz, especially since it already has castle in it.
